My name is Paul Tansley and live in Sheffield England.
I am 49 years old married to Gillian for 29 years. I work for the Civil Service for 21 years and have 11 years to do before I get a real life.
I am a retired racing cyclist and have raced all over the region and now take life a little easier.
I have just taken up ornathology and is easier than slogging in the rain and snow doing cycling.
I retired from cycling with an unexpected heart problem 18 months ago and its turned my life around BIG style because I have become a more relaxed person and never take things seriously, competition is still in my blood and I have flung myself back into the gym and spend more time in the sauna than in the gym itself and I like that now.
Music is my passion, hate TV and passionate about radio.
Radio 2 and Galaxy are tuned into my car radio and now of course Sheffield live.
I am a keen radio DJ and do a show every Friday at 15.00 on Sheffield Live www.sheffieldlive.org where I specialise in dance music.
I am also doing Solid Ibiza which concerntrates on Club mixes with a twist of electro and Solid Ibiza goes out Saturday nights at 21.00- 22.00, this is a temp programme until Augast.
I am currently working on a new show for Sheffield Live hopefully to be brought in this summer called The Rock n Roll years which will play music from 1954 to 1963.
There is no actuall music of this genre played on Sheffield Live and I am about to change that.
You can vote in unreleased dance tracks,
The first 50 minutes will concerntrate on Brand new tracks that didn't quite have enough votes to get in the top 10.
The Sheffield Live dance top 10 will then commence at 15.50 . Remember the more votes the better chance it gets to hit the top 10.
