Music is my strongest spiritual connection. I enjoy writing music that touches on the different emotions we experience here on this planet (good, bad, ups, downs, smiles and tears, etc.).
I'm very much in love with my wife Tracy. To me, she's the most beautiful woman I could ever be with. She's the inspiration behind the song"Deep Down Inside".
I'm the proud Father of 3 Sons: James, Joshua and Justin. I don't know why God allowed me to be the fortunate one chosen to be their Dad; but I'm so thankful, humbled and glad He did.
Well thank Lee for the add! He and I talked on the phone today for a completely different purpose than the band and discovered what a small world it was....so I decided to jump on here and get more info about Velvet Soul! Thanks for the add!
Hey Paul...thanks for the continuing updates. I hope that all is going great for you guys. I am considering another church here in Florida, so maybe you'll need to take some vacation time and come down to play for us????
Words cannot describe it - Your new CD is as professionally done as anything out there on the market, and it is enjoyable to listen to. This is cool stuff! It is obvious that every aspect of the process was done to honor the one who makes it all possible. I pray that you and all of the incredibly talented people involved in the process would be blessed as a result of your efforts and ability to put it all together. Bravo...
"Stand Up" is my favorite track. Really enjoyed the quality of the CD. Some great lyrics too! A Tom Petty and Bob Dillan feel, with a little country spin. It's all you Paul!
What an awesome adventure we had last night. As always, I appreciate your music. You really played some tasteful phrasing and have a good handle on creating melody and harmony. Hope we can all experience more of what God has for us in deeper levels of worship.
Paul..just looked at your Velvet Soul webpage..looks awesome! We'll be down soon to listen to you guys jam and check out the martini bar...probably bring some friends from Cincy area. Best wishes..Jay and Lisa
Thanks for posting the kind comment and photo. It's been an awesome opportunity and experience. Hope things went smooth for you and GVS at Barleycorns! FYI - I'll be playing with the Loose Cannons at Shimmers in Fort Wright (Oct 19 & 20th). Hope you get a chance to stop by.
Hello Paul...Hope you and Tracy are going great! I miss talking to you and everyone from cmi. It's certainly good to see that you are doing what you LOVE--making music. You do it well! God bless, tt
Thanks, Paul! This will help me keep up with where you are playing out. I always seem to miss it. BTW - worship was great Saturday night and the guitar sounded FABULOUS!
