Paul Zettler hails from Mississippi, a state ripe with tradition and new ideas. These qualities translate into his particular brand of country music, with one foot steeped in tradition, and the other in a unique approach to age-old themes.
Paul is in the process of putting the finishing touches on his latest project, a record representing a collection of his life experiences. He will appear at this year’s CMA FEST in Nashville, Tennessee; as well as numerous venues in the Southeast.
Paul’s musical influences run the entire musical gamut. Songwriters such as Merle Haggard and Hank Williams helped to influence his style. In Paul’s words, “I can’t really explain why I’m in music, I’m not sure I can give any rational explanation for what I consider a very natural, almost primal desire”.
“Songs are one way to communicate feelings…feelings that I know every human being has. Basically, success is a great forum for exchanging ideas…novel or serious”.
