I was born in Brooklyn and raised in Staten Island & started performing in clubs by the age of 15. I have performed in many of The Big Apple’s most famous clubs from The Bitterend (legendary for being the “stomping ground” for some of music’s most influential artists) to CBGB’s, The Bottom Line and Kenny’s Castaway’s.
I recorded and performed with indie hard rock band Scraggly Jane for much of the 90's. The band’s 1996 CD “The Effects of Mary Jane” and single “Hey Baby” received national attention on Howard Stern’s 92.3 K Rock radio show and E! Cable television show. The video for “Hey Baby” appeared on the MTV shows “Lunch With Jesse” and “Indie Outings”. Scraggly Jane sold over 10,000 copies and was in rotation at over 350-college radio stations nationwide! Scraggly Jane spent a year touring the country opening for such acts as Eddie Money, Loverboy, 38 Special and Kansas before breaking up in December 1999.
During most of the Scraggly Jane years, I also co-fronted the popular local cover band Green Velour. Green Velour was a powerful 3 piece band that covered rock and pop hits from the 60’s to the 90’s. All three members of the band were lead vocalists and steadily played the NYC bar scene for 5 years. Prior to leaving the east coast in August 2000, I spent most of my time freelancing around the NYC and tri-state area with several bands including 50’s sensations “Danny and the Junior’s” of “At The Hop” fame.
I moved to California in September 2000 and joined a Reno, NV based group of tribute performers. For over five years, I played lead guitar and sang back up for several different tribute shows performed by the organization including Rob Hanna’s Salute to Rod Stewart. For over 20 years, Rob Hanna’s show had graced the stages of some of the biggest venues throughout the U.S. and Canada. The group also performed tributes to Tom Petty, CCR, The Cars and many others. While not performing tribute shows, under the name Mister Jynx, my band mates and I were a mainstay in the Reno/Tahoe casino circuit. In April 2005, I began performing with Carlo Driggs . For more than 20 years, Carlo was the lead vocalist for Paul Revere and The Raiders. As the lead singer in the Miami based disco group Foxy, Carlo wrote and performed the smash hit "Get Off" which became a platinum single and gold album. Foxy was nominated for a Grammy Award as Best New Group of The Year.
In November 2005, I helped form the popular variety group Atomika. With their wide variety of hits ranging from hip hop to metal and everything in between, Atomika started out on the infamous Las Vegas Strip and steadily performs in casinos and resorts throughout Nevada, California, Louisiana, Texas, Mississippi, Missouri and many more. I left Atomika in October 2007 and relocated back to my home on the east coast.
Since settling in Jersey City, I have have spent most of my time playing up & down the east coast with South Jersey rock band Emily Jean & The Screamers. Most recently, I landed as the front man and guitar player for North Jersey veteran band Dog Voices. Dog Voices disbanded in December of 2008.
