He started his piano education at the age of 7 in the class of Karin Freiler and Maria Lanner. Three years later he began studying at the University of Music and Performing Arts in Vienna with Prof. Imola Joó. Other valuable artistic impulses he received from two internationally recognized pianist-composers, Richard Hyung-ki Joo and Prof. Roland Batik, finally becoming a student of the latter at the Konservatorium Wien Privatuniversität in 2007, after graduating from the Wiener Musikgymnasium, where he was a long-term member of the choirs and orchestra.
Frequent solistic performances in the Bösendorfer-Saal, Bösendorfer Stadtsalon and Joseph Haydn-Saal, appearances with orchestra performing J.S.Bach Concerto in F minor BWV 1056, Ph.Glass 'Tirol Concerto' and G.Gershwin's 'Rhapsody in Blue', collaborations with national and international choirs as well as choir accompaniments and concerts as an orchestra member in the Goldener Musikvereinssaal, Wiener Konzerthaus Mozart-Saal and Schubert-Saal under the batons of Georg Kugi (regularly since 2002), Prof. Adolf Winkler and Guido Mancusi. Further collaborations with singer Timna Brauer and the Elias Meiri Ensemble. In 2004 he won the 1st prize at the Prima la Musica competition in Lower Austria.
His 'Scherzo Balladesque' for solo piano has been premiered at the Prima la Musica 2008 competition and brought him a special composition prize. 2008 also marks his debut as a conductor.
His full recording transcription of the 'Blues in F for piano' by Roland Batik, commissioned by the composer, is going to be released by the renowned Viennese music publisher Doblinger. Currently he is working on a solo piano transcription of Philip Glass' Symphony No. 8 commissioned by Dunvagen Music Publishers.

Beginn der Klavierausbildung im Alter von sieben Jahren bei Karin Freiler und Maria Lanner, im dritten Lernjahr Aufnahme in die Vorbereitungsklasse von Prof. Imola Joó an der Universität für Musik und darstellende Kunst Wien. Weitere wichtige künstlerische Impulse erhielt er von zwei international renommierten Pianisten und Komponisten, Richard Hyung-ki Joo und Prof. Roland Batik, an dessen Meisterkursen er mehrfach teilnahm und 2008 schließlich sein Bachelorstudium bei Prof. Batik an der Konservatorium Wien Privatuniversität aufnahm.
Häufige Soloauftritte im Bösendorfer-Saal und Bösendorfer Stadtsalon, Solist bei Klavierkonzerten von J.S.Bach, Ph.Glass' 'Tirol Concerto' und G.Gershwins 'Rhapsody in Blue' mit dem Franz Schmidt Kammerorchester unter der Leitung von Prof. Adolf Winkler sowie Chorkorrepetition und Konzerte als Orchestermitglied im Goldenen Musikvereinssaal, Wiener Konzerthaus Mozart-Saal und Schubert-Saal unter den Dirigenten Georg Kugi (regelmäßig seit 2002) und Guido Mancusi. Musiktheaterprojekt mit Timna Brauer und dem Elias Meiri Ensemble in Karlsruhe, weiters Zusammenarbeit mit dem University of Montana Chamber Chorale. 1. Preis beim Wettbewerb Prima la Musica, Auszeichnungen als jugendlicher Klavierbegleiter als auch Sonderpreis
für eine Komposition für Soloklavier im März 2008. Im selben Jahr folgten ein Soloauftritt im Rahmen der Spenden-Gala einer internationalen Wohltätigkeitsorganisation im Vienna International Centre sowie erste Probe- und Konzerterfahrungen auf dem Gebiet der Orchesterleitung mit dem Unterstufenorchester des Wiener Musikgymnasiums, wo er selbst langjähriges Chor- und Orchestermitglied war und 2007 seine Reifeprüfung ablegte.
Pawel Markowicz arbeitet zurzeit an einer Soloklavierfassung von Philip Glass’ 8. Symphonie, welche von Dunvagen Music Publishers in Auftrag gegeben wurde. Seine CD-Transkribtion von Roland Batiks 'Blues in F' für Klavier erscheint demnächst im Musikverlag Doblinger.

Nauke gry na fortepianie rozpoczal majac 7 lat pod kierunkiem mgr Marii Lanner. Po trzech latach nauki zdal egzamin i zostal przyjety do klasy
prof. Imola Joó na Uniwesytecie Muzycznym (Universität für Musik und darstellende Kunst) w Wiedniu. Jest absolwentem wielu kursów mistrzowskich u prof. Rolanda Batika i brytyjsko-koreanskiego pianisty Richarda Hyung-ki Joo. Wiedze w zakresie teorii muzycznej, analizy
i historii muzyki poglebia pod kierunkiem prof. H. Ortmayera, dr. T. Reutera, prof. W. Haberla oraz mgr W. C. Vessely.
Od 2001 r. jest uczniem Gimnazjum Muzycznego w Wiedniu i czlonkiem tamtejszego chóru i orkiestry. Liczne wystepy solo i koncerty solistyczne
z orkiestra pod batuta prof. A. Winklera (2004: J.S.Bach Koncert f-moll BWV 1056; 2006: Ph.Glass Tirol Concerto) m.in. w wiedenskim Bösendorfer-Saal, Bösendorfer Stadtsalon i Joseph Haydn-Saal.
Gral w skladzie orkiestry i akompaniowal wystepom chórów w Zlotej Sali Wiener Musikverein (2004, 2006) oraz w Mozart-Saal i Schubert-Saal, Wiener Konzerthaus. W 2004 r. zdobyl pierwsza nagrode z wyróznieniem
w konkursie Prima la Musica Niederösterreich. W 2001 r. bral udzial
w sceniczno-muzycznym projekcie w Karlsruhe, Niemcy, wraz ze znana spiewaczka Timna Brauer. Wspólpracuje z dyrygentami mgr Georg Kugi (systematycznie od 2002 r.) oraz Guido Mancusi (2006), a takze z chórem Uniwersytetu z Montany, USA (korepetycja W.A.Mozart Requiem, 2006).
Poza tym zajmuje sie studiami róznych rodzajów muzyki, takich jak jazz i improwizacja, muzyka filmowa i amerykanska minimal music. Interesuje sie równiez musicalami i kompozycja.
