Sean Down is the song writer for the group, influenced by many genres and artists. In addition to writing the music on the E.P. Sean also recorded and produced it. He plays guitar and sings.
George Guilfoyle plays double-bass, and holds a diploma in Jazz Performance from Newpark school of Jazz.
Nilantha McPartland plays guitar and piano, and has completed the one year P.M.T.C. (Professional Musician Certificate) in Newpark school of Jazz. He is currently in year one of a degree course in music in Trinity College Dublin. He is planning to specialise in composition in years three and four.
Dominic Mullan is one of the most sought after young drummers in Dublin. Chances are you have already caught him in a few gigs, and like George he holds a diploma in Jazz Performance from Newpark school of Jazz.
Lidia Sasse is an accomplished vocalist, with a haunting and memorable quality. In addition to years of experience playing with other groups, she recorded with Fovea Hex, on their Brian Eno-produced album, Bloom.
Pawna is a new Dublin-based band, whose members are all highly skilled musicians with an ear for the unusual and catchy. Formed in 2006, the band have spent the last year honing their sound and writing material.
Pawna has just recently launched ’Sapnuose’ in Dublin and are now busily planning a tour of Lithuania.
Currently Pawna is promoted by TalentedMinds, a Dublin based talent and project management company.
