My name is Skee haa roo haah tawa (Lights-In-The-Room-Woman).
I am a strongass Pa Nee woman, Kitkehaki Band, and proud.

A descendant of Kutawikucu' tawaaku' a
(Echo Hawk), a Pa Nee Scout.
A Proud mother, a sister, friend, daughter, granddaughter, cousin and niece.

A warrior woman, educator, planner, organizer, promoter, and fundraiser.

I believe it is our responsibility to do what we can to encourage, nurture and develop the next generation of Native leaders who are willing to work and give back to their community & Native peoples at all levels.

I believe in the power of our ancestors, history, word, community, family, friendship, love, leadership, education, music, art, media, our traditional cultural and spiritual lifeways, and organization.

I believe in sincere, committed hard work for things larger than ourselves.

So why I am on myspace...? To promote all things good going on in NDN Country and to support other Pa Nee's & Natives out there doing good things...


CHECK IT | 4Real Series premiers in the US on CWTV – 4Real Pawnee Nation airs October 26th



In August 2007, the TV series 4REAL joined NVision Tour stop at the Pawnee Nation with actor Casey Affleck. 4REAL is a series of half-hour television shows that take celebrity guests on adventures around the world to connect with young leaders who, under extreme circumstances, are affecting real change.

NVision was chosen as one of the young leaders to be highlighted in the series and saw this as an important opportunity to highlight the work on the organization and the youth that the organization works with.

The series has already aired globally on National Geographic and MTV Canada. Cast for Season 1 includes Cameron Diaz, Mos Def, Joaquin Phoenix, Eva Mendes, Casey Affleck and Flea of the Red Hot Chili Peppers. 4REAL Pawnee will premiere this coming Sunday October 19 at 5:30pm on CWTV. 4REAL Pawnee will repeat on Sunday October 26 at 5pm and on Sunday December 7 at 5pm.
