About me:

Pawsitively Famous, Inc., a not-for-profit 501(c)(3) organization, is a devoted group of Ran Fans (we are not Miranda herself) who believes that there's a good home for every pet. Our aim is to help raise money for Miranda's favorite charities, the Humane Society of East Texas (HSOET) and the Texoma Animal Improved Living Society (TAILS), and to promote their goals through races and other special events.

Since igniting the country music industry in 2005, Miranda Lambert ("Ran") has been actively associated with the HSOET in Tyler, Texas, near her hometown of Lindale. She has recently gotten involved with TAILS in Tishomingo, Oklahoma, where she has a farm. She spends a substantial amount of her "free time" raising money to help these charities, even donating considerable sums of her eBay store proceeds to them. Though HSOET and TAILS primarily deal with issues specific to their regions, the problem of homeless pets is worldwide and the best way to address a problem this widespread is to think globally and act locally. We're hoping our efforts will inspire more and more people to help out their local humane societies as well.
