This is what should be banned! Only a monster could treat an innocent animal this way. If you know of ANY type of animal abuse, call the police immediately! Animals depend on us to be their voice.

Pit Bulls are overbred at a disturbing rate. Ironically they are the hardest breed to find good homes for. The sad reality is there ARE NOT enough good homes for Pit Bulls. Only 1 out of every 599 Pit Bulls that are born, will find forever homes. And for every litter of pups that are brought into this world, an equal amount of dogs in shelters had to die because those homes were taken. When it comes to Pit Bulls, don't breed or buy, while shelter animals die!
Please be responsible, and spay/neuter!

Imagine if a red-haired person attacked a child, would the community ban all red-haired people? If a truck driven by a drunk driver were involved in a fatal accident, would the community ban trucks? Many children get injured every year on playground equipment. Should we ban all playgrounds? The answer is a simple and resounding "no" and it should be the same for our pet companions. Restrictions placed on a specific breed fail to address the larger problems of abuse, aggression training, and irresponsible dog ownership. Again, breed alone is not an adequate indicator of a dog's propensity to bite.
Pawsitive Pit Bulls was created to establish a network of people who want to change the negative image associated with Pit Bulls.We can work together to fight the Pit Bull bans that seem to be spreading like wildfire.We know our dogs arent the vicious monsters the media portrays them as. And we will work to disprove the rampant stereotype given to nothing less than the absolute best of mans best friend.

Would you judge an entire race because a few of them are bad? Is it fair to do so? Absolutely not! Then why would you judge an entire breed, based on what a few have done? Please don't stereotype our dogs! We want people to see that although they may look intimidating, they are the sweetest dogs you could meet! So please give Pit Bulls a chance, before you sentence them all to die!!!
Pit Bulls are not the stereotypical devil dog put forth in media myths.One very important characteristic of the Pit Bull dogs, is their amazing love of people, and especially children! Human aggression, severe shyness, and instability are not traits typically found and accepted in the Pit Bull breed. In fact, Pit Bulls tend to do better than average in temperament tests. Human aggression is not a problem specific to the Pit Bull breed.In fact, just the opposite is true with Pit Bulls, they are noted for their love of people and children. That is just not widely known outside of the Pit Bull lover community!
Anyone who shares the love of Pit Bull type dogs, and want to help them, and change the "bad image" they are getting from the people who abuse and mistreat them. So much love goes out to all the Pit Bull rescues, and everyone who helps them!

IS there anybody out there that actually helps Pit bulls get out of bad situations? I have some people that moved in behind me recently and they have two pit-bulls on chains in their back-yard. They cry 24/7. I want to see them in good homes. Is there anybody that can help with this?
Momma just told us in da future we can only getst on da internet during da weekend, ‘cause normally we would getst online on Tuesday as well, but momma don’t have da time to help us anymore. Since grammy spent some time on da icu, momma and grammy’s sis, momma’s auntie, gotst furry close, they called each other a couple of times a day, and drove to da hospital together too. Da auntie asked da momma to come over on Tuesday afternoon, together with grammy, so momma won’t be home to help us with da laptop Tuesdays… pffffffffff…
Snoopy has spent some time in da doghouse, ‘cause he was a furry naughty doggie! Bailey accidentally walked over Snoopy while he was taking a siesta, and Snoopy grabbed Bailey, who completely stressed out, ran into da garden, and stayed there for quite some time! He hissed at everypawdy that came close to him, even da momma! Moccha and Beau never react like that, not even when they’re asleep, so that was a biiiiiig NO NO da momma said, and Snoopy had to go sitst on da terrace for a while to think boutst what he’s done… It’s all okay now, Bailey came back inside, and Snoopy is forgiven too… MOL!
Lots and lots of sweet kitty kissez… purrrrr…. And happy waggy tails from da doggiez… woof woof woof…

The Guernsey County, Ohio Commissioners have mandated a 100% euthanasia policy for all pitbull and pitbull mixes who come to the pound. Owner surrenders will be euthanized immediately and strays will be euthanized in 3 days. Read the article here: http://www.daily-jeff.com/news/article/4682951.
The shelter will not permit adoption of or release to rescue any pitbull or mixed breed dog determined to be pitbull. No exceptions-not even puppies!
