About me: Our mission is to reduce and aid the population of unwanted and lost companion animals in our community and to support and encourage the positive interaction between pets and people.
PAWS is an all volunteer, 501(c)3 non-profit organization that was founded in May 2003 to help the communities in the northeast Louisiana area. We have created several programs to help accomplish our mission which include: Animal Shelter Rescue, Humane Education, Pet Identification, Pet Therapy, and Spay/Neuter Assistance. I just wanted to thank you for considering our app for Nakita. Even though we didn't get her and were disappointed the most important thing is she is now in a loving home. Akita's are very misunderstood dogs. We'll keep watch and maybe there will be another dog we could consider.
