****The EP 'If April is Willing and the Creek Don't Rise' is now on the iTunes music store***** .. .. ...... .... From time to time, we all feel that restless soul inside. For us it yearns for the unconquerable American landscape: in the north and south, in the present and the past. We sing of a time when an adult had less choices and more freedom, when the train tracks stretched as far as you'd ever been and the flames of the dark engines on the horizon just kept rolling under a blanket of stars. We play music for people to enjoy and we give you a show you won't see anywhere else. *-------*--------*--------*--------*--------*--------*--------*--------*-------*--------*--------* Hailing from Boston, San Francisco, Maryland, and Missouri, we dreamt of a sound that acknowledged the rich American roots tradition while drawing in the styles of our diverse upbringings. By pulling in Danny, fiddler extraordinaire, in October 2009, we officially established our Providence-based neograss quintet with influences from Gillian Welch and David Rawlings to Bob Dylan and the Beach Boys. Folk is a modern attitude, an honorable culture, a destination. Performances: BCA Showcase, COBAB Battle of the Bands, The Brown Folk Festival (2 years), Fatty McGees, Delta Tau Showtimes, Concert for Haiti, UNICEF Benefit Concert, The Main Green, Wayland Arch, and parties. That's right, we play parties. .. .. .. .. .. .. .. .. ....................

Pawtucket Mudd - If April Is Willing and the Creek Don't Rise

Everyone can feel the restless soul inside them; for us, it yearns for the vast American landscape. Spanning the human emotions, our music speaks to the empty plains of the past and the hectic bedrooms of the modern world.

America is not a perfect country. It shelters its own share of darkened, disorienting relationships. The land itself has seen better days: the water is dirty and the bridges are beginning to rust. But the cycle of nature endures, and the tales of the land and its people maintain their sacred mystery.

*-------*--------*--------*--------*--------*--------*--------*--------*-------*--------*--------*

We sing of a time when an adult had less choices and more freedom. When the train tracks stretched as far as you'd ever been and the flames of the dark engines on the horizon just kept rolling under a blanket of stars. We play music for people to enjoy and we give you a show you won't see anywhere else.

Formed in 2008. Providence R.I. Five young men who are happy you came.

Shows we've played so far:
BCA Showcase, COBAB Battle of the Bands, Fatty McGees, The Brown Folk Festival, Delta Tau Showtimes, Concert for Haiti, UNICEF Benefit Concert, The Main Green, Wayland Arch, and parties. That's right, we play parties.
