Bryan's Interests
General
I like puppies, almonds, breathing, escapism, meandering conversations with no real purpose or conclusion, Christopher Walken, Sammy Case, butts and so forth.
Oh, and I write brooding, verbose, philosophical and sentimental fan fictions at:
And, assuming you like those, you'll probably like my flawed but valient first and, so far, only novel:
Jon Secada does a classic. This album changed my life!
And I also like Mathis, Genesis, Stravinsky, Rennaissance, PFM, Weather Report, Saint Seans Symphony 3 with the lights off, Nat King Cole, The Zombies, anything Motown, Chi-Lites, Chic with DiMiola, Paco, Megadeth, Porcupine Tree, Bruce Cockburn, Fear Factory, Tribal Tech, Sepultura, Tony MacAlpine, pretty much anything Jason and Marty have done, Chopin Sonata #3, Metallica, FORBIDDEN! Rimsky Korsakov, Khachaturian, Rodrigo, John Williams (both of them) Leo Kotkee, How coudld I forget TULL!... and other stuff in that general vicinity.
Movies
Artificial Intelligence, Zozo, V For Vendetta, At Play In The Fields Of The Lord, My 20th Century, 2001 ASO, The Killing Fields, Apocolypse Now, West Side Story, Enter The Dragon, LOTR Trilogy, Star Wars trilogy, Brokeback Mountain, Motorama, TP-Firewalk With Me, Downfall, Dazed And Confused, Midnight Cowboy, City of Hope (pretty much anything Sayles has done)Around The Bend, MirrorMask, An Inconvenient Truth, You Are Not Alone, Come And See, The Ogre .... the more I name the more come to mind, so I'd better stop.
Television
Mr Show, The Simpsons, Malcolm In The Middle (first 3 seasons anyway), Deadwood(!), The Rifleman (DVD), The Daily Show, Arrested Developement, Futurama was better than Family Guy so WTF happened? Colbert is great but it is almost impossible to satirize right wing hacks, CSPAN, AMW... hmmmm
Books
LOTR, Interview w/a Vampire, On The Road, anything by Jack Olsen, Potter of course, escapist, horror, sci-fi, lite historical etc... I don't really read much as I used to. Gaiman's "American Gods" was the last thing I got though.
Heroes
Ralph Nader, Michael Parenti, Noam Chomsky, Martin Luther King, Bono, Sam Sedar etc ... I don't know... pretty much anyone who pisses in the face of caustic pseudo-Christian neo-fasciest fukheads and their life-sucking military-industrial corporate puppeteers.
I've been meaning to tell you something. I'm sure you already know, but...
All those million and one questions that you were patient enough to answer has really helped me with the science aplications I'm into now. You told me how electricity works and how radio signals are propagated.
Wrapping my mind around those concepts when I was young definately helped me with the stuff I'm dealing with now.
Bryan, So glad that you happened to come across my page. A blast from the past is a "Good Thing" !!!! The past is a part of who we were and who we are now. Your sense of humour is "Refreshing" !!!! Take care my friend, Ron Montney musician / friend A quote to share: When "The Power Of Love" overtakes the love of power, the world shall know peace. Jimi Hendrix

This isn't actually Al Gore, I am just an activist trying to have him Drafted into the presidential race. Don't feel bad about 2000, when it came down to it the decision was made in the Supreme Court. Mr Gore had the votes in Florida but the count was stopped. In my personal opinion, I think Mr Gore respected the Constitution so much as to not try to send the country into a constitutional crisis after the election. No one could have predicted what would happen after that.
Hi Bryan!
This place is pretty cool too! My son (potsey on Myspace) worked on my page - asked me what things I liked and what made me laugh and when I woke up in the morning there it was! I love the native Indian touch. Found Etta James just by searching around here. Everytime I listen to her I'm immediately relaxed.
I was looking into rent control because we are getting ready to become landlords, and I remembered what you had told me about that temporary third roommate. There's a section that says they were supposed to lower things once he moved out. Here's where it is. . . http://www.caltenantlaw.com/LARSO.htm
A lot of the info here was
