About PBII

PBII

Formerly known as "Plackband" a band formed in Holland, somewhere in the 70's.
In April 2008 they decided to change the bandname into "PBII". With a new line-up featuring Plackband veterans Ronald, Michel and Tom completed with Harry.

With a slight change of musical direction, somewhat more prog-rock but still the symfo background of the past 30+ yrs of the preceding "Plackband", PBII will be ready for the mayor stages soon.
Some of the songs written in the '70's can still be heard. The new songs will be more progressive, and somewhere a little fusion can be found as well.
With the broad range of influences from "Yes", and "Genesis" till old hard-rock giants like "Deep Purple" or the modern day proggers of "Frost", the Canadian supertrio "Rush" or the amazing "Mahavishnu Orchestra" .... to name but a few.

Right now, PBII has started writing and recording for their debute album, which is scheduled to be released in Dec. of 2009.
