After returning from Austin, TX mid '86 Greg (ex Moto X) hooked up with Al (his 'Good 'Ole Boys' band mate) and started hashing out some tunes. They soon hooked up with Andy (after the early retirement of the Blood Farmers) in Greg's mom's basement and started playing guitar instrumentals accompanied by thunderous drum beats.
Decidedly too loud for the basement the trio sought a practice space and Bass/Vocals. Andy called his Farmers/Killing Children band mate David about the bass gig and his friend Glenn who had recently left a short stint singing in the local new wave act Pink Element.
After a series of run and gun practices around and in campus dorm basements PBOC started to play various parties (usually crashing them in their station wagon full of gear) 'who called for the band?'.
The following year Dave and Andy pursued art and music school. Dave went to Chicago and Andy to Boston also to play for a year in the Blake babies. During that year Greg, Al and Glenn hooked up with Jason Roland to fill in on Bass and played their first of a few Second Story shows. Jason also a budding studio engineer was able to swing a live/in studio session at the MAC over the holidays with the original five members producing some of what you hear posted here.
