Someone slowly coming to terms with being a Folksinger
Matt starting off play loose and sloppy Rock and Roll in basements and Biker bars with various bands, and that led to a downward spiral of plain badness. The partying and chemical entertainment took over from the music and soon it was over. No one found Matt reliable enough to keep in a band for longer than 3 weeks
It took a harsh but fair lesson by a police raid to make Matt realise the extent of his problem and Folk music to start the healing process.
Worried that he couldn't play or compose whilst clean, Matt is starting off slowly, not wanting to put too much pressure on himself.
PosterBoy is his 1st project since becoming clean, using the Folk music that has helped him so much and mixing it with the Rock and Roll that is also part of who he is.

Awwww. I know this is still a bit off, but i'm trying to convince my parents to send me back to Ireland for a few weeks as a graduation gift next spring/summer, so if you think you'll still be in Galway, well, i'll probably need a place to crash. haha. Stay in touch! p.s. nice tunes, buddy.

Hope you are having a good Christmas season! I'm coming to your Island on Dec. 29th....playing a string of shows. We play Belfast on the 29th, 30th in Dundalk, 31st in Inishowen at McGrory's for NYE...then onto Sligo, Boyle, Dublin, Galway, and Limerick.
