Paul Baron is a Pacific NW based freelance trumpet player originally from Vancouver, Canada and artist/clinician for Jupiter Instruments. Growing up in Vancouver was a great experience. Not only is it one of the most beautiful cities in the world, but it allowed him so many opportunities to learn and play with some of the most talented musicians. With about 28 years in the business, he has have played everything from garden parties for 10 people, to stadium shows for 64,000. He's played in clown bands with neon orange wigs, and in the studios recording for Aerosmith, David Lee Roth, INXS, Barenaked Ladies, Skywalk, Jackyl, Powder Blues, just to name a few. Polka bands, rock bands, brass quintets, symphony and opera orchestras, 100's of jingles and Broadway shows, have all given him some invaluable and varied experience. He has had the pleasure of playing with Natalie Cole, Harry Connick Jr., Diana Krall, Lynyrd Skynyrd, Lou Rawls, James Ingram, Patti Austin, Sheena Easton, Ray Charles, Barry Manilow, Bob Hope, Dionne Warwick, Wayne Newton, Steve Allen, Broadway Divas Patti LuPone and Chita Riviera, and many more. Toured with The Temptations, Mary Wells, and Martha Reeves and the Vandellas, Broadway shows of CATS, Evita, Full Monty, Dirty Rotten Scoundrels, and currently on hiatus from Monty Python's Spamalot playing at The Merry-Go-Round Playhouse. In October Paul will mount the Tony award winning musical, "It The Heights" national tour. See above for itinerary.
