Smooth, soulful, music you know all the words to and no matter how badly your vocal talent, you can't help but to let loose. Big band, jazz, top 40, classical... any that will move the human spirit, make you get up and grab the nearest person to just start dancing (face to face).

My mom. I watched and encouraged her when it was hard and difficult to recover from having a stroke. She went to all the pt and speech therapies and has recovered a very large portion of her physical and speech abilities. She NEVER gave up...

About me: 99.999% chance you don't know me. So don't ask and read below.
Don't ask me why you've been requested to be a "friend", "Do I know you?" or "Who are you?". There's an extreme likelihood that the request was made by some beloved "deadbeat" friends who seem to believe that I should die with the most "friends". I'll read it but I probably won't respond. I simply can't do all the things that I do and keep up with those types of messages. Add me or not, that is simply up to you. Feel free to read the blogs and profile. If you wish to comment or ask about them, I'd be happy to respond.

Be patient on any responses I might make to you. Since my deadbeat friends like to add people, there is a limit of 400 messages and adds a person can do in a day... so I tend to run out of 'allowed' messages each day. Myspace is suppose to be a fun place, don't take it too seriously!
After much prompting, I got a myspace page and some friends have just taken it to an extreme. Recognized a few faces. Simply FAN TAS TIC!!! My name is Patrick. I'm originally from Tulsa, Oklahoma... Sooner born and sooner bred. I'm a uniquely blended oxymoron for umm 103 years. ;)
I've created policies, established degree programs and created a tradition at the University of Oklahoma (i.e. Camp Crimson, NSO, etc). As a consequence of creating Camp Crimson, OSU formed Camp Cowboy a few years later. In 2004 to 2005, I helped to improve Oklahoma City University, an U.S. News and World Report Tier 1 small private liberal arts university, by being a part of bringing the largest domestic class in its over 100 year old history. Job accomplished. It is secretly satisfying to have had an undercurrent of impact in education. I've also been tutoring students in Norman since 1992.

I completed my MBA at OCU in December 2007. Added a Finance Specialty in May 2008. I also just completed a Marketing specialty December 2008.
I've worked for 4 Fortune 500 companies (Seagate, GE, Dell and Clear Channel). I've been a talent scout/ executive.
My ultimate goal is to start my own business that might one day change the social economic structure of my state... any investors? My team is getting closer. We will hopefully launch phase 1, an organization aimed at being "green". Our first project is to look at creating new forms of renewable energy. We've met with a major research university who is interested in doing the R&D. Knock on wood!!!
Random things about me... I'm an Eagle Scout and a Disney 'Dreamer and Doer' recipient. I have also been awareded with a Six Sigma Green belt certified and a Six Sigma Advanced Black Module in Time Series and Forecasting. I am working toward being certified Project Manager Professional (PMP) in 2009.
Yeah, I know John Paul from the Bachelorette, Sarah B. from the Bachelor and I know where Ricky Smith from the 2nd season of American Idol works. Ricky is going to FINALLY take a chance and go out to LA in late October 2008.
