Influences
No influences really, but I'd like to give a special thank you to Sean O'Rourke, the 'S' in the brilliant 'JSD Band' who has helped me and many others (and I don't even think he realises he has done).
Sean is not only a brilliant, multi-talented musician, but he is also a kind, caring and understanding person and I wish him and his family well.
You can purchase my songs from the player below, all money received will be spent wisely on alcohol and loose women.
Just click on any song and you can hear the first two minutes.
As you can hear I'm not a great singer, I'm a composer. I record my music to let people hear the songs and music I have written and for a wee bit of fun (I'd do anything for a laugh, just look at my haircut!), but I still write for other people and let them do the serious recording.
All the music I post here are my own compositions. The majority of them are demos I have made where I play most of the instruments myself, recording them onto separate tracks, then put it all together using a mixing suite.
I have copyright to all the words and music and use my recordings as demos hoping some of you professionals out there will record them and make me loads of money!!!!
This is only a small sample of my music and I have recorded lots of songs and instrumentals with many different styles, so I will just keep changing the ones I post here. Keep listening and you might find a song you like!
DON'T FORGET You can put my music on your mobile phone so you can scare people, in addition this will also stop people from stealing your phone!
You can also see the lyrics to the songs as you listen to them if you can’t understand a word I’m singing by pressing the ‘lyrics’ link on the player. WARNING I recommend that you listen to my singing while drunk and with earplugs fitted or download all my songs onto a CD and give the CD to your mother-in-law!
Just visiting your page to share energy with you and your Friends.

Hello Peter, I'm doing fine thanks, I'm always quiet. I'll be sticking a new song up soon, well it's not that new it's about 35 years old, but nobody's heard it. I'm waiting for a cold to shift a bit, then I'll do the vocals. Cheers Des
Hello Peter! You touched my heart with 'Yellow Ribbon' it was only yesterday when my older brother went off to "Vietnam" miss him dearly. May God Bless us all! Love to you and wee Pete! {{{{{{{HUGS}}}}}}}
Hello My Dear Friend! I am doing well, I am sitting in my bedroom with my head phones on listening to your beautiful music. I don't want to wake the baby:) Oh Peter! I must tell you, my grandson also loves your music, he loves when I hold him close as we dance to "Saxy Guitar" Love to you and wee Pete! XOXO
Thanks for the Johnny Cash comment. This was my tribute to him. I wrote the whole song around what I thought he would do and sound like. I don't think your song would upset anyone. It will let them know that someone can feel for them even if they aren't in the same position. Take care brother.
Hey Peter. I liked both of them quite a bit. Yellow Ribbon gave me chills though. There are a lot of families around where I live that the song applies to. It really gets you in the gut.
I'm not finding a second player except for the one to buy songs. If I weren't as broke as the American financial infrastructure, I'd definitely pay for them. I've not heard anything that is less than magnificent on your page. I'll try again when they get the bugs worked out of the new player system.
Peter Coia - Join us in congratulating record producer Kim Copeland for her work on the Rachel Williams album, Lonely At The Bottom. Check this great review by R.K. Oermann with Music Row Magazine on Rachel's current single, The Only Thing Harder Than Leaving.
"She has the goods. This creeps up on you with cat’s paws. The languid pace, echoing instruments, spacious production and her hushed, aching delivery are all immensely seductive. The lyric of leaving home is full of terrific details. And her falsetto leaps in the bridge are like little daggers to the heart. A mini masterpiece. This, by the way, is the third single in a row that I have raved about from this performer. "
Sorry it has taken me a while to get back to you. Threw my back out, had a very slow recovery and then had a ton of projects to get done that were backlogged. I fully expect it to be a long time before I actually get caught up again and back on track. But hey it keeps me off the streets at night.
Sounds like you are keeping busy as well my friend. So you have some new songs in the works. I can't wait to hear them. Let me know when they are ready to listen to.
