Music
Sting and Miles Davis are my two all-time favorites. On any given day I can jump from Frank Sinatra to Rage Against the Machine to classic instrumental jazz. That about sums up my musical tastes - I'm all over the map, anything but country.
Movies
To me, there are 5 films every filmmaker ought to watch once a year: The Godfather Part II is the pinnacle of American filmmaking. You can't make a better action movie than the original Die Hard. Citizen Kane still impresses me. The Matrix (the original!) is the myth for the new century (replaces '77 Star Wars). The documentary Easy Riders, Raging Bulls: How the Sex, Drugs, and Rock 'n Roll Generation Saved Hollywood is an essential portrait of the trends that shaped our current industry.
Television
Current: Top Chef; Iron Chef America; Throwdown with Bobby Flay; Mythbusters; Time Warp; Dirty Jobs; Primeval; Rescue Me
Past: Stargate SG-1; Stargate: Atlantis; The Wire; Homicide: Life on the Street; Twin Peaks; many, many others!
Books
Raymond Chandler, Dashiell Hammett, James M. Cain, Ernest Hemingway... you could say I like 'em hardboiled...

MyHotComments Happy Birthday Paul...Even though I know it was yesterday!!! I hope that you had a GREAT day and that all of your wishes come true now & always!
Hey Paul, thanks for the wishes! It's taken me a while but things are starting to come together.
I've locked down a deal already with a european game developer that signed me on to do their official game trailers for their game currently in BETA but nearing release.
How are things on your end? Haven't heard from you in a while. Looks like you're keeping busy!
