General
I'm an avid web surfer, but when I'm not busy dorkin' out in front of a computer screen, I've been known to like to drive around, go to movies, shop about, read, listen to (and make some) music, and pester friends to go do stuff. :-P
Music
I enjoy all kinds of music... there are some I crave for more than others, but I can pretty much get behind whatever it is that I turn to on the radio when I hit the "seek" button. Trance and Techno are two of my current favorite genres, and I'm slowly beginning to favor Alternative Rock over many other types. I've always been partial to Classical music, as it helps me relax and renew myself (not to mention it being a great sleep aid on those restless nights :) )
Movies
I love a good movie! I can't really list all of the movies that I love to watch here... You'll pretty much have to ask me if I like it or not.... I do like Action, Comedy, and even a little bit of Drama, but many, many movies appeal to me.
Television
Discovery, History, G4, Comedy Central, and Military Channel seem to dominate my TV time these days.
Books
I'll read pretty much anything you put in front of my face.... but I'm partial to any kind of PLAUSIBLE science fiction, and "The Andromeda Strain"... lol and IF you could allow me to be a kid for a minute... I STILL love my "Japanese Children's Favorite Stories" book... sooo many stories that I grew up on there, like The Little One-Inch Tall Boy, The Kind Woodcutter, The Silly Monkey and the Crab... :)
Heroes
I'd say that pretty much anyone that's had a positive influence on my life is my hero/heroine, but a few that stand out are my friends from my "hanabata days" (you all know who you are... thanks guys), all those brave heroes that have gone before me in the Navy, my dad (and the rest of my family), and Ferris Bueller (the coolest kid anyone could ever meet).
I'm an adventure-loving guy... I'm here to experience what the world has to offer, and to see what it takes to make my mark on the face of the Earth. If it's worth doing, I'm here to do it.
I'm originally from the island of Maui, Hawai'i, born there, lived there for the first 19 years of my life. I carry the culture where I can, but I've found that traveling away from home has changed me, and I've got a blend of Island Chill and Mainland Rock in me these days.
I'm generally a really friendly guy, especially when you get to know me... I always make it worthwhile, and burning a bridge is never something I do without serious thought.

So far so good. I start school again in two weeks and will be getting my motorcycle license then too. Jon & I both got cycles so that's exciting. Mowgli started a job at Best Buy (maybe that's why you couldn't get a hold of him). But anyway, thanks for the compliment and I hope all is going well for you also. Hopefully we'll see each other again and go to another metal show!!! Take care!
