PDXmas is a charitable project—a collaborative effort—involving Portland, Oregon, bands. These musicians have donated original music to a compilation of Christmas songs for the 2007 holiday season entitled, "PDXmas Vol. 1." Even better, the proceeds of the sale of this CD will then be donated to the Toys for Tots Foundation.
The production for this year's debut of PDXmas Vol. 1 finished and we're just waiting to get our hot little hands on the CDs when they come back from press.
Live Show and Toy Drive!!! December 14th, 8:00pm, at the Ash Street Saloon in downtown Portland. For $5 and an unwrapped gift, you can see 12 - 15 local artists performing Christmas songs AND get a copy of the brand new CD, "PDXmas Vol. 1" which features 11 original Christmas songs written and recorded by Portland bands.
