Simsbury native Carrie Johnson writes music with integrity and style. Soulful stories and melodic folk-rock meet in her well-crafted original songs.

An open mic devoted to poets and instrumental musicians. This event is open to everyone, join the experiment and share your art.

Featured artists every 1st and 3rd Saturday, music open mic every 2nd Saturday, poetry open mic every 4th Saturday. When there is a 5th Saturday, an additional featured artist will perform.

An alternative to the bar scene, Peaberry's is a cozy café where alcohol is served after 5:00, food and coffee are served all night, and equal portions of sophistication and casual bohemian cool are served at all hours.
Come and experience the local music and poetry scene. There is no cover charge, however, donations are accepted and will go directly to the wonderful artists who honor Peaberry’s with their performance.

We'd definitely be interested in playing at Peaberry's again. We have no shows scheduled. None. We have just finished an album for Sling Slang Records, though, so we're looking to play out again in the Spring.
