PEACE BOSTON: Peace Boston is a movement that was created by members of the Hip Hop community, youth workers and youth on December 21, 2005 in Boston, MA. Our debut event was the "Peace in the Streets" vigil held in Dorchester, MA at the rise of youth violence in Boston.
PEACE BOSTON FOUNDING MEMBERS: Peace Boston consists of the Academy of Public Service at the Dorchester Education Complex, The Floorlords, The Hip Hop Mecca Project, LisiVian, Louis D. Brown Peace Institute, PLO Style Graphics, R.A.W. (Revealing Artistic Works), Save the Youth Ministries, Showdown Youth Development's Violence Free Zone Initiative,The True Hip-hop Culture Program, UMMF and The United Youth and Youth Workers of Boston.
PEACE BOSTON RADIO SHOW: Tune in to the Peace Boston Radio Show on Sundays from 2 to 4 PM on Touch 106.1 FM in Boston. This show is hosted by Peace Boston Founder, Cindy Diggs and Critical Breakdown Director, Erik Wissa. The show is engineered by Julez of Sound Unit Productions with live music provided by DJ Vance and special guest DJs.
