“The primary purpose for government is to be a vehicle for the rich to get their hands into our pockets” Buckminster Fuller in Grunch of Giants
“The purpose of the foundation was to use the power of money, not to raise the level of education…, as was widely believed at the time, but to influence the direction of that education… The object was to use the classroom to teach attitudes that encourage people to be passive and submissive to their rulers. The goal was – and is – to create citizens who were educated enough for productive work under supervision but not enough to question authority or seek to rise above their class. True education was to be restricted to the sons and daughters if the elite. For the rest, it would be better to produce skilled workers with no particular aspirations other than to enjoy life. ” - G Edward Griffin in The Creature from Jekyll Island, on Rockefeller’s General Education Board, founded 1903
...before the film...there was the movie. From Pink & Blue films, "THE" ALTERNATIVE "W THE MOVIE". Unlike Oliver Stone, we haven't lost our balls and this one takes a side.
“Viva Palestina” will be an epic journey from London to Palestine.
Hundreds of thousands have taken to the streets over the past few weeks to protest at the slaughter of innocent men, women and children in Palestine.
A convoy of aid and essential supplies will leave London on February 14th a valentine for Palestine; to commemorate this fantastic initiative of people power, an album “Viva palestina” will be produced to add to the financial support.
Are you an artist that would like to headline the album? Or do you know someone famous in the industry who could donate a “track”.
If you would like to help on the album, please call Jay Stewart on 07981966945 or Andy Baxter 07904227517 or email album@vivapalestina.org
Dear Peace Not War: Thank you for YourFriendship. My eight-year-old-peace-activist son Axil's quest for World Peace Before 2021 is gaining momentum! I'm so proud of him. Please embrace him AND his song "World Peace Before 2021" which he sings beautifully. His performance can be seen on MySpace, his webpage www. worldpeacebefore2021. com and/or YouTube (by searching his name Axil Kollist.) It is my intention to post a new video of him singing his song every few months so people can watch his talent grow as impressively as the momentum for his quest! I'm sharing two photos with you. The first is of my son distributing his free world peace bumperstickers and the second photo is of him singing his song “World Peace Before 2021” at Maui's Martin Luther King Jr. Peace Day Festivities in January 08. By all means, email Axil if you’d like him to mail you one of his free “World Peace Before 2021” bumpersticker or if you’d like to invite him to sing for your function. His email address is worldpeacebefore2021@hawaii.rr.com .Very best regards, Axil Kollist’s mom

Needleandthread presents... {yet another} dirty great big night out.. 19 Oct 2007 the JAMM, 261 brixton road, London, sw9 UK Cost:£6/£5, or £4 before nine.. BARGAIN!!
Room One.. Cyan341 - Tonight we are lucky to have Rednetic label boss Mark Streatfield perform his more techno based material - deep, soulful, and groove ridden, but with all the electronic frills we’ve come to expect from him. eN - atmospheric breaks and harsh edited jungle rhythms with washed out synthetic soundscapes to create bass heavy dancefloor killers. rANdOMoiDz - Dirty shuffling beats chop and change between techno rhythms and wonky breaks, and are guaranteed to make you move. Alt*Ctrl djs - these DJs have played alongside the biggest names in electro and know exactly how to rock a dancefloor. Patscan - combines complex rythyms and sweet melodies with a definite dancefloor focus. Uncle Smutfist - an utterly unique frenzied but playful sound that dances between distorted dubstep and battered breaks. between the rooms, we have live performance pieces from The Great Antagonist, and guests..
Room Two.. ZeJ - combining live electronic drums and bass with effervescent synthesis and live gadgetry, provides an experience impossible to ignore. Red - brixton based multi-vocalist, building his tongue twisting rhythyms into live loops, then turntable-ising the results.. King Porter Stomp - a dub - ska juggernaut of rhyme and funk on a mission to entertain, enliven and enlighten. an unstoppable octet of big horns, fat beats, heavy bass. Bogus Gasman - anarchic dub-core.. punk-laced reggae.. what they lack in covers, they make up for in brass, fat old basslines, and guitars that go chk chk chk chk.. Bunty - one mouth, one mic, one loop station, one delay pedal.. one hell of a show.. dj’s include Mr Hovis, Dj Dark.. should be a bloody good one!
