The video of the orchestra is amazing ... but wanted to hear the tabla or other instruments after seeing it ... any well recorded audio available of that presentation perhaps to put up in the audio section?
I hope one day my music will have a full live orchestra like that ... getting there :-)
Have been thinking of you a lot of late as have been listening to a lot of material specifically Oud from the mid-east (just ordered one). Let's def'ly find a window to do another shared bill or duo effort in 2008. Sorry my communication is always catch as catch can.
BBQ -- Hey, good to have you as a MySpace friend!! Glad to hear you caught one of our concerts. Hopefully, you'll be able to get to another one soon, if so, we'll meet up and say hi!
Roger, Thanks for the comment. I hope to knock 'em dead in LA! I did hear good things about the NJ Pepper show. Bet you were fabulous! I will be posting a blog about my time in LA... hopefully on a regular basis, depending on if I am given the time to do so! Wish me luck!

tell dave he should get me to sing it. or fixing a hole.

Re. your pics: what kind of violin-bass have you got? My own (a Höfner) comes from the late '80s; collectors say the hardware is "all wrong"...shows what they know! That's it a-thumpin' on all my tracks. I'll bet that Khansahib-ji album kicks a**, too. Let me say thanks again for adding my alter-ego Poor Andy the Skiffle-tramp. I began a project a couple of years ago that sought the root or essence of the Beatles' sound; those factors which set it apart from the past, and which it imparted to all popular music following. At first I wanted to record an album of covers & originals in a 'Beatles' style, but --through exhaustive archival analysis; Little Richard, Gene Vincent, Ravi Shankar, the Coasters, &c.-- I came at last to Lonnie Donegan. A favorite since my Art School days, I had nevertheless failed to grasp the significance of Skiffle music in the development of not only the Beatles' sound, but (by extension) of all the so-called 'Rock' music which followed... thus, the 'Beatles' project became the U.K. Skiffle project. (The 'Chaplinesque' is just 'cause I love the silent movies --the irony and subtlety; Charlie's
