Peaceful Soldier is currently down to just 3 members. Jeff McGoey is the founding member of this project. Scott Jackson is the drummer and Mihai Zaharia is our bass player. We find ourselves seeking a new LEAD GUITARIST as our close friend and "Maestro" guitar player from Portugal can no longer play with us, and this is not by choice of his own or ours.......Life throws us a twist at the worst possible times.
One of the most challenging aspects of playing in a band is finding members who all think on the same page. Not just musically but with respect for each other and friendship.
Peaceful Soldier's sound combines Heavy Melodic riffs with a tight rhythm section and very powerful hooky vocals with extremely introspective lyrics based on life experiences by Jeff.
Each song is uniquely individual and it is difficult to compare the sound to any one particular band. Peaceful Soldier plays music to make themselves and their fans feel good.
We have currently broken on the TORONTO club scene but find ourselves dealing with halted momentum due to the loss of our LEAD GUITARIST.
