i get on the bus today, late and tired and on my way to work at my new fat job like the little wage slave i've become due to america's college loan system.
I'm closing my eyes, hoping to get in a little bus meditation, and out of the corner of my ear, i hear something ....panflutey...
so there's this guy, with a double-decker panflute, at one side about 2 inches long on the shortest pipe and about 2 feet long on the other side....WELL he proceeds to rock one song, eyes fully closed, stamping the feet, just jamming the FUCK out of it. THEN...THEN...he runs to the back of the bus a la Axle and finishes the song. I gave him about 55 colones after his second number. I thought of you the whole time. Such a panfluting has never been witnessed by this central illinois gringa.
