This flexibility allows you to play all your favorite licks and instantly switch to a myriad of new and unique slide guitar tricks – all with the greatest of comfort. Due to the expanded interest of the lap steel community, the new line of Peaceland Guitar Rings® includes 10 lengths from 3/8" to 3 3/4". The 3 3/4" length can be used as a "tonebar." Unlike traditional tonebars, additional fingers are not required to hold the Peaceland Guitar Ring®. Felt pads hold the Peaceland Guitar Ring® snuggly on your finger, freeing your other fingers to wear smaller Peaceland Guitar Rings® on the tips to achieve new harmonic combinations that have never before been possible. The shortest models can be used as thumb rings for steel guitar players.
Peaceland GlassBrass® slides are now available on EBAY, and GlassStainless® models will soon be listed, as well. These models also debuted at Summer NAMM 2005. This new patent pending slide design, combining glass and metal, provides unique tonal possibilities. This reincarnation of the band reformed last year, playing their first show in June, and went on to play festivals throughout Canada and the States and had played to over 300,000 people before the year was out. During this tour last year they recorded a live CD available on Amazon entitled "Sweet, Live in America" which has received rave reviews - pick up a copy and please Add Sweet As Your Friend On Myspace!
