Will Farrell has been busting his nuts trying to get this film released. We are seeing it as soon as it comes near here (my guess is it's at the IFC in Waltham sometime):
My Dad bought at auction the following phone and called me on it this morning. It's a Northern Electric 302, the Canadian cousin of the Western 302, AKA the "I Love Lucy" phone (featured in the TV show). The receiver is bakelite, a brown cloth cord, metal rotary dial, enameled lettering. My Dad had to splice wires to get it to work but it did and he sounds cool on it. I told him that if her ever found another one to hook me or you up. Apparently it sounds cool, too---it's ring is basically a hammer going back and forth between two bells.

Yeah, I know. The cheaper option lost. Go figure! Which one of the consoles was the blu-ray player? Man, I hope it was the xbox 360, but I got a feeling it's the playstation 3. Damn---the 360 plays all my old xbox games.
