About me:
www.peacockproject.hepc.co.uk/ Unfortunately our Chairman and best friend passed away and we miss him so much. There is a bit of a hole in us at the moment but will be back soon as Olle would want. Peace from the peacock project

The Peacock Project will be up and running SOON.
Who I'd like to meet:
Some comments from the group memebers: User 1- Has helped me feel less isolated. Has inspired me to make changes in my life and has taught me some coping stategies. It has been useful in every way, to be able to discuss HCV openly, and to be in an eviroment that is non judgemental. More practical help with eg. Welfare, Social Services, Survival Stategies needed. User 2- The group has suppoerted me through my treatment with sound advice and reassurance. Without the group treatment would have been harder to cope with and the Massage and Reiki has been more than useful. User 3- Meeting people at all stages of their illness has been very supporting for me. I feel there is a real bond between us and the staff are part of that as well. The trek from outside the area to attend the meetings are well worth it. Thank you for being there and caring. User 4- By being amongst people suffering fom the same disease as myself, we didn't just discuss that. I made some good friends. User 5- I hope this group continues and helps more people. The Peacock Project and staff were very friendly, useful , approachable and helpful.

Olle selflessly devoted his time to supporting others and spreading awareness of Hep C. He was a unique soul who brightened up the lives of many with his positive attitude and wonderful sense of humour. We shall miss you, Olle xxxx

As the magic of the season finds us once again, lights and gifts of love lift our spirits. We find the greatest gift of all is love. May we find peace on earth and good will to all! Let love and joy warm your heart. And blessings from on high fill your home and continue throughout the coming year.

Sent with love and a chuckle

Hey Niall, nice to hear from you. Sowerby Bridge - where abouts is this? I like Sowerby, their chip shop is my favourite in the world and has been a family favourite through out my life. My favourite place is North Landing, I sometimes stay at the North Star and have also stayed at Swoerby Grange before. Do you live near Flamborough yourself? How is the weather today up in Yorkshire? The snow is clearing here is Derbyshire :( Shame I like to view the snow. I hope you are well? and best fo luck for the walk, I am holding a coffee morning at my residence this Saturday for my support group for Hepc in Derbyshire. Its going to be great and quite chaotic.
Pls send my love to all, best wishes Catherine x
