Anything made by people trying to sound like machines, but usually not vice-versa. I also like pretty music made out of ugly sounds, but usually not vice-versa.

Christianity: The belief that some cosmic Jewish Zombie can make you live forever if you symbolically eat his flesh and telepathically tell him that you accept him as your master, so he can remove an evil force from your soul that is present in humanity because a rib-woman was convinced by a talking snake to eat from a magical tree.

Books
Lately I've been reading all the popular new books on atheism, ie Richard Dawkins, Daniel Dennett, Sam Harris, etc. Christopher Hitchens is kind of a jerk but I suppose I'll read his book next because I agree with him on most everything. Right now I'm re-reading George H. Smith's classic Atheism: The Case Against God. Highly recommended for those who wish to intellectually arm themselves for verbal sparring with theists. (Or you can just cut out the middle-man and tell them to read it too!)
I don't mind mentioning these specific authors here, even though I know I'm just helping out some market research bots or something, because I feel it's important that those bots report back to hq that these authors are being read and supported.
Here's a recent song I wrote, from "I Once Was (a sketch)." This is a teaser of sorts for a site-specific installation/opera that I'm working on for Sledgehammer Theater, slated for production in Summer 2008. Markee Rambo-Hood sings lyrics by an anonymous writer whose scrawlings I found on a scrap of paper. You can see photos from "I Once Was" HERE.
I know it's a hair early, but happy birthday. Rabid and I just got off a 700 mile hike on the AT and are moving out west! Maybe we'll see each other soon! :-)
G-Spot. I friggin' miss you. We didn't hang out enough at kick off. Somehow that's a month past and I STILL don't know what's going on in your life. Call me this week? Or I'll call you!
Hey Pea Hix, here's hoping you will join us with the new netlabel devoted to kids. (Monkeys, monkeys, monkeys, monkeys, I like monkeys!) Come over and play!

I think we're going to try the AT. I need a warm-up. Besides, we're moving to the west coast next year so rather than waste the money on plane tickets...how have you been? We miss you!
