...... Artwork by Masayo.. .. Il gruppo “the Peanuts” è un gruppo pop/rock nato nel 1992. Il gruppo ha suonato nei locali del territorio italiano per 4 anni circa realizzando centinaia di serate. Nel 1994 hanno suonato come opening act in un concerto dei “Doctor and the Medics” ricevendo la proposta di seguirli in tour in Inghilterra. The Peanuts hanno realizzato il loro primo CD nel 1995 dal titolo “Sky and Misery” promosso tramite il tuor italiano “Sky and Misery Tour” che ha toccato varie città del territorio italiano. Il gruppo si è sciolto nel 1996 e si è ricomposto nel 2006 (grazie a Johnny Sessa voce solista della band ed a Max Maffia chitarrista della band) con un Cd in agenda per il 2008 e la partecipazione alla Right Compilation nel 2006 con ben 2 brani dal titolo “My Way To Africa” e “Something’s gonna start” e molti altri progetti in cantiere. Il produttore artistico di “The Peanuts” è Lorenzo Maffia (attualmente tastierista della band) musicista/produttore di fama nazionale.
