Billie Holiday, Esthero, Furgie, Mary J Blige, Aertha Franklin, Julie Black, Dianna Kraal, meagan white, Beatles, Basement Jaxx, Freestylers, Shy FX, Christina Agulera, Madd mouse, portishead, the postal service, connect, drum and bass is a huge inspiration in my musical development. As i grow more aware and begin to experience different genres and styles, i am finding House and Lounge style Jazz really makes me devolge into my creative force.

Pearl Miller is a newly discovered storm that is rising faster then her creative edge can begin to execute. With her strong visual imagery through sultry and alluring lyriks and seductive style, she allures every crowd from Hip Hop, House, Drum and Bass to Jazz, Blues and Burlesque tastes. Her vocal style, as discribed synomously with, "a mocha latte on a Monday Morning", is how she disrupts the theme of constant and uses inventive innovativations to diversly segment Freestyle, Hype, Reggae, Jazz/Soul and raps into a united dynamic within every live perfomance. Only entering the industry early September 2006, she was not a new face or an unknown force. Participating as a true loyal Vancity Junglist, she was at every show and weekly nights supporting the music she feels so deeply connected to. "I was the elitist standing at the back of the room, arms crossed, makin fun of the MCs". After her introduction to Jazz and Downtempo production, she awoke to a destiny that she knew she was given to conquor. Experiencing the nightlife atmosphere from a (participant?) aspect she flipped the Coin and began her Journy to become Vancouvers First Female Top 40/Hip Hop Emcee. After becoming a member of Juice Crew Entertainment in Early September 2006, Lady Dame was Born. With over 40 major live performances under her belt, and not to mention opening for such acts as, Evol Intent, Shy FX , Lemon D, Pacific, Dabbler, Psidream, PlanB, DJ SS, Subfocus, Dilinja, DJ Wood and SOO, DJ Revolution, Matt the Alien, Akeel, Btraits:LTC(ladies take control), Slow DJs, Capital J, Too Short and Weekly residencies in Victoria, Vancouver and monthly concerts in Kelowna, Whistler, Calgary and Tornoto. The West Coast is quickly catching the Lady Dame epidemic and crowds are in search of where to find the next dose! Learning how to Emcee on site, infront of a crowd,allowed her to quickly develope the skills that were needed to properly asses each target audience, and allowe her to be the energizing alliagning forceto connect any dance floor to the hypnotic tastes of the DJs. Lady Dame has destroyed dance floors all over the North America and has been rapidly spreading her seductive sounds worldwide. Supporting the Underground culture, she is spreading her wings,connecting through Myspace and the web to listerners all accross the globe! Soon being discouvered as a vocal wet dream. Showing true passion to music, tackling many different projects to get out her message and sounds made it the most plausable explaination to work with all variations of Vox.
Working on her first album, Lady Dame has chosen to become more intimate with her listeners and made the Change over to her middle name and Last name as her true Identity, leaving Lady Dame as her future project to become an All Female Lable, Urban Clothing and Jewlery Line as well as Magazine.

Just started working with Erisidal Sounds Production, assisting iDJ Johnny D'Erico with live P.A. vocals and entertaiment...its a bout time we got some females up on the stage! With the inspirations of Miss Dynamite, Bridgee K Esthero, Billie Holiday, Aretha, Furgie, Mary J. Blige, i am moving in the direction of uncontrolable take over!!! Through Hip Hop, Dnb, Jazz or downtempo..give me a beat and i will run it.

Alright Ladies and Gentlemen. Through July 14th - July 21st will officially be the last of any Skratch & Sniff Odyssey previews. Dvd's of the documentaries edition is now avaialble, but limited. They're are only 105 copies made up. They're $3 each. No more will be made. For those of you that live in lexington ky, the dvd's will be available at Sami's on S. Limestone the evening of July 15th. For those that are out of town, just hit me up with an email on arrangements to recieve your copy.
