Hey! We're Peavy, Robinson & Houston a threesome group of musicians and songwriters who together form...a very unique studio band dedicated to recording and releasing creative, inspiring, and motivating original music for your listening enjoyment. We produce and record our own music (another mode of creative expression). We believe in giving you your money's worth with our music! Most of our songs are longer than the average "radio-play"...(intentionally!) because we prefer to jam to our heart's content. Rather than release a debut album (which will probably happen at some point in the upcoming future), we are quite happy releasing single tracks...to allow You the opportunity to get acquainted with our sounds. Adam Robinson: I am Dream Theatre's number 1 fan! If they ever need a backup drummer, I am the MAN! I also appreciate Metallica and Dragonforce.
Angela C. Houston: Since I am the most "Retro" member of the band, my influences are from "back-in-the-day"! Anybody remember Atlanta Rhythm Section? How about the Doobie Brothers and Phil Driscoll? I also appreciate Andre Crouch and the Imperials (Russ Taff era). (I will also admit that I definitely went through a huge Van Halen decade). I am a bit more mellow now.

Bill Peavy is the "cool" multi-tasker of the band. Bill (and his clones) play lead guitar, bass, main vocalist, background vocals.....and somehow in his very busy life, he finds time to compose music and write great songs.....Did we mention that Bill does a fine job of recording, mixing, and mastering "the sounds"? And he does it all quite well, too. (ah, those gifted people!) Hit the fuzz man!
Adam Robinson is the highly energetic and gifted progressive metal drummer.....who never gets tired of "rockin' out" on his drums....To Adam's surprise, he has landed right in the middle of "soothing piano and strings" coupled with "classic Southern Rockin' guitar" mixed with a little Latino flare, and oh yeah.....We finally wrote a couple of "semi-metal" songs to make Adam happy! Talk about being chunked into a "genre salad bowl" of drum styles. Hey...he's still young and goin' strong!
Angela C. Houston lets her fingers do the walkin' on the keyboard....and "fake violins" also known as strings....She also gets the claim to fame for the most "retro rocker" of the trio....but she is okay with that...."a rocker is a rocker" no matter how many birthday candles are on the cake! Anybody got a fire extinguisher? (just kidding). One of Angela's favorite pastimes is writing and composing music...for fun...and to keep the band busy in the studio! .............................................................

American Medley has a "behind the scenes" story from the band. If you're interested...then read on... One day while we were browsing for friends on Myspace, we clicked on a photo of a guy who was kicked back in a chair with his feet propped up...his wife was making a peace sign behind his head. Sounds average enough...but when his myspace profile rolled up on the screen, it was far, far from average. This man's page was FILLED with all sorts of military graphics in support of US Soldiers and Veterans. It was and continues to be the most patriotic myspace page that Peavy, Robinson & Houston have seen. We sent this guy a friend request with an added note..."You are one patriotic American!" He accepted our request and became our friend. Later, while Angela was doing yardwork (riding the mower), the patriotism of our "new friend" inspired her to compose new arrangements to America the Beautiful and The Battle Hymn of the Republic. We put the two songs together and called it American Medley. Angela had this crazy idea to record American Medley...and then get a bunch of photos from veterans and active duty soldiers...and create a photo slideshow using American Medley as the soundtrack...AND have it uploaded on the Internet by the 4th of July, 2009!!! WE DID IT! In just under 3 weeks, Peavy, Robinson & Houston wrote music, recorded, mixed and mastered, and created a video slideshow called Tribute to the Troops ...and actually uploaded it one day early (July 3, 2009). It was a tremendous amount of work for a 10 minute video...but our US Soldiers and Veterans are worth it! FYI...there are several of our myspace friends who allowed us to honor them in our Tribute to the Troops production. Thanks guys! Well...that's the story behind American Medley and our video Tribute to the Troops. Thanks for taking time to glance behind the scenes. yea i sub seperated my shoulder 2 weeks ago and it hasent got better even with theripy so i dont know whats gona happen i just got a huge brace i gota wear or they wont let me play at all
He, too, had a blast...it really means a lot to him...he gave well over 20 years of his life. He deserves HONOR just as everyone who has, are and will ever serve-they sacrifice a lot.
