Pedro Macedo Camacho is an award-winning composer for video games and interactive media. He is currently working on the incredible and innovating MMO game FURY from AURAN (Published by Codemasters and Gamecock Media) and A VAMPYRE STORY from AUTUMN MOON ENTERTAINMENT (Formed by the same ex-Lucas Arts team that did the Monkey Island series) (Published by Crimson Cow).
Pedro is also known for his orchestral work in the award winning short film "Stilt Walkers" and his electronic work promoting the synthesizers from the World Renowned Synth Creator, Rob Papen, like the award-winning Predator and Blue.
Short Bio
Pedro Camacho started learning composition with the talented Argentinean maestro and composer Roberto Pérez in his home city's Conservatoire and Arts School.
After two years he moved to Lisbon where he continued his studies in the National Conservatoire in Lisbon for another four rewarding years with one the best composers and teachers in Portugal, Eurico Carrapatoso.
Under his guidance, Pedro got A+ classification every year, becoming one of the extremely rare students ever to achieve this score in the entire Conservatoire's history (since 1835).
Composing is an important part of Pedro's life since he was ten years old, when he started composing short musical pieces on the vintage OctaMED program, a tracker for Amiga 500.
Side by side with this classical learning process, Pedro continuously learned Jazz Theory, Composition and Piano with the pianist Jorge Borges in the most famous Portuguese Jazz School, "Hot Clube Portugal".
