1997 was the year we saw Pedro Camilo returning to limelight. Many years add passed since he recorded the 3rd LP with the teenage group Onda Choc, all of which released by CBS (now Sony BMG). In the meantime Pedro had keep his links with music, both in school projects and in a garage band where he was the keyboard player, grooving through the music of Prince, Van Halen and Genesis.
In 1996 Pedro was asked by the producers and friends Joao, Nuno and Pedro Faria Gomes to help in gathering four singers to form a boy band. Telmo Miranda and Nelson and Sergio Rosado were found and invited to join the project and together with Pedro brought Setimo Ceu to life. Ten songs were written and recorded and the album with the band's name was released by Polygram (now Universal). After a few months of great anticipation and anxiety the first single Foi So Um Olhar, one of Pedro Camilo's solo tracks reach top spot on national radio play lists, giving the band a rapid climb to success which was followed by a year full of TV and Radio appearances and live shows, to audiences of more that 20.000 people.
A year and a half after their debut album was released, Setimo Ceu disbanded. The brothers Nelson and Sergio Rosado formed the band Anjos with great success, Telmo Miranda joined another musical project.
Pedro Camilo got his act together and started writing songs for his first solo album. After listening to his demos, BMG signed him and sent him to London to work with the producer Luis Jardim on his debut solo album, Dono Do Tempo which gave Pedro his first radio hit as solo artist, the ballad Espaco Protegido.
In 2003 Pedro released the album Meant To Be, produced by Luis Gil Bettencourt and mixed by Luis and Nuno Bettencourt (Extreme) in Los Angeles, CA.
Meant To Be gave Pedro two more hits, Hello and Meant To Be, the latest saying four weeks in a row on top position of national record sales, in representation of TV Series Morangos Com Acucar soundtrack. Meant To Be videoclip, available on youtube.com was also produced by Luis Gil Bettencourt.
After a three week participation on Celebrity Farm tv show, Pedro went to London to work with the producer Steve Levine (Culture Club).
In 2004 Pedro was invited to perform as opening act for Julio Iglesias stadium shows in Barcelos and Portalegre.
Pedro Camilo's 3rd solo album, Stories Of A Recent Past, co-produced by his brother Miguel Camilo, was released in 2006 and included hits Das-me O Mundo, Da-me Uma Razao and So De Nos Dois, all of them also included in TV series soundtracks.
In 2007 and 2008 Pedro once more performed as opening act to Julio Iglesias shows in Lisboa and Portimao.
Pedro is currently writing songs for a new album.

Em 1997 o grupo SETIMO CEU lança o album com o mesmo nome. O tema de Pedro Camilo FOI SO UM OLHAR conquista o pais de norte a sul e os SETIMO CEU fazem nesse ano mais de 70 concertos, com audiencias a atingirem mais de 20.000 espectadores.
Em 1999, Pedro Camilo junta-se em Londres a LUIS JARDIM para gravar o album DONO DO TEMPO. Com o single ESPACO PROTEGIDO Pedro Camilo volta novamente o primeiro lugar das tabelas de radio. Seguem-se concertos por todo o pais continental e ilhas. Desse album saem tambem os singles VIVER E VENCER e TER-TE JUNTO A MIM e ainda a balada CAVALEIRO ANDANTE, versao de Pedro Camilo do famoso tema de RUI VELOSO o qual participa no mesmo.
Em 2001 Pedro Camilo junta-se a Luis Gil Bettencourt e entre os Acores, Boston e Los Angeles, onde se juntam a Nuno Bettencourt (da banda de rock EXTREME), gravam o album MEANT TO BE. Depois de 2 anos de trabalho o single MEANT TO BE e lancado em 2003. O tema com alta rotacao na primeira serie dos MORANGOS COM ACUCAR fica 4 semanas no primeiro lugar das tabelas de albuns. Desse album sai tambem o single HELLO que acompanha a personagem principal da novela QUERIDAS FERAS.
Tambem em 2003 Pedro Camilo tem uma participacao especial na serie JORNALISTAS.
Em 2004 Pedro Camilo desloca-se mais uma vez a Londres onde passa algum tempo a trabalhar com STEVE LEVINE, o conceituado produtor do grupo CULTURE CLUB.
Ainda em 2004 Pedro Camilo faz pela primeira vez a abertura dos concertos de JULIO IGLESIAS em Barcelos e em Portalegre.
Em 2006 e lancado o album STORIES OF A RECENT PAST, de onde sai o tema SO DE NOS DOIS, tema da personagem principal ESTRELINHA da novela DOCE FUGITIVA. Mais uma vez Pedro Camilo esta de volta aos primeiros lugares das tabelas de radio por todo o pais. Desse album saem mais dois singles, o tema DAS-ME O MUNDO, o qual entra na novela FALA-ME DE AMOR e o tema DA-ME UMA RAZAO, tema de grande sucesso da quarta serie dos MORANGOS COM ACUCAR.
Em 2007 Pedro Camilo participa na serie juvenil UMA AVENTURA com o personagem BACO.
Tambem neste ano faz o tema da campanha de cinema, radio e TV da multinacional de seguros GENERALI, tema intitulado ANGELS.
Ainda neste ano compoe o hino da Associacao de Clubes de Futebol de Praia, o tema EU VOU JOGAR.
Em Dezembro de 2007 Pedro Camilo actua para uma plateia lotada de mais de 13.000 pessoas no PAVILHAO ATLANTICO abrindo mais um concerto de JULIO IGLESIAS.
EM 2008 Pedro Camilo volta a abrir o concerto de JULIO IGLESIAS, desta feita em Portimao.
Presentemente Pedro Camilo esta a preparar um novo album a solo. Este album representa o acumular da experiencia de todo o trabalho desde o grupo SETIMO CEU e ira certamente agradar aos muitos fans que reconhecem Pedro Camilo como um dos maiores valores da nova geracao de artistas.
