This page is dedicated to one of the silliest projects I ever had the pleasure of doing: Peepman.
Years back, I decided to do a joke gift for a friend of mine who has an unhealthy obsession with Marshmellow Peeps.
Thus was born Peepman.
Prior to this, I had done a short comic adventure based on one of her other obsessions: Orange Stegosauruses. Not just stegosauruses, but orange stegosauruses. It was amazing how many orange stegosauruses there are out there...But I digress...
Peepman was originally planned to be a short comic story, but it just kind of took off on it's own. I ended up working on it, on and off, for several months.
My friend has the original, which took up an entire sketchbook, and I just have some old photocopies to work with, so I apologize for the poor quality of the images here. It's still mostly readable (hopefully).
The story is filled with pop-culture gags, and a lot of inside jokes, which I'll do my best to explain in a blog.
