Peg and the Bouffants were formed in early 2007 by Janine and Kirsty, two best mates from dryburgh in dundee who bonded over a love of music and writing songs.
They first got Peg, a local legend, to play Guitar for them and set about writing songs influenced by their love of r'n'b, ska and britpop.
They next recruited Calum and Jamie from local band the Hoffs to play saxophone and bass, and when drummer Jaq Inglis (formely of Dave?) joined in december 2007 the lineup was complete.
Since then the band have supported the likes of ska legends The Beat and Bad Manners as well as more contemporary acts such as Sonic Boom Six and Bombskare.
With a growing fan base, a reputation as an excellent live act and with a set of catchy, up beat tunes under their belts Peg and the Bouffants are not to be missed!
