About me: When I was a small boy we went to a thoroughbred farm in Kentucky and as we were walking through a barn one of the horses stuck it's head out of it's stall. It seemed huge and scared me half to death but my dad told me to touch it's nose. It was so soft and gentle that I fell in love with horses ... but I never had a chance to be around a horse until the first part of 2006. I was listening to KFI 640AM in Los Angles and the weeknight newscaster, Leah Brandon, was talking about rescuing a bag of bones horse she named Lucky. Hearing Leah perked my interest to search with Google for horse rescues and I found United Pegasus Foundation. The next weekend I took a "BIG" 5 lb. bag of carrots with me to go see the horses. I was a little nervous at first but being 2 feet taller now the first ones I saw weren't scary huge anymore. I found a new love in making friends with smaller young horses, majestic thoroughbreds, and, to my pleasure, truly huge draft horses. I also found that 100 lbs. was closer to the right amount of carrots for a day at Pegasus.
Who I'd like to meet: Other horse lovers and especially people that work with rescues. If I don't see you have something related to horses in your profile you'll need to message me to be added as a friend.

Thank you for adding me. I really enjoyed your pictures and videos. James is gorgeous! I've volunteered at horse rescues and I've seen Percherons and Belgians, but I don't think any of them were 18H.
