Singer/songwriter, Peggy Day, has been performing and writing songs for over twenty years. Peggy has written 80+ songs. She says "life brings me messages to share", and Peggy delivers them in her own unique style.
Derived from Middle Eastern, Latin, Rock and Blues rhythms, Peggy calls her music Gypsy Rock. Aiming straight for the heart. Example titles of Peggy's original songs include: IT'S ABOUT LOVE, CHILD’S PLAY, LOOK TO THE SKY, LADY ATLAS, GYPSIES FOR LOVE, SPRINGTIME, HELLO AND LET IT BE GOOD-BYE.
Peggy Day has performed with artists such as Vince Welnick, of the Tubes and The Grateful Dead, Country Joe Mc Donald, Merle Saunders, songwriter Dewey Terry, Barbara Mauritz of Lamb, plus many more great musicians.
The Gypsy Knights~
*Garth O’Brien plays outstanding lead guitar and backing vocals. Garth adds so much to this bands original sound. Garth is a genuine Gypsy, and a much respected musician. Garth and Peggy have been playing together for over 8 years.
*Erik D'Este (E-Rock) plays Bass. E-Rock's five string bass compliments the gypsy rock sound with his own unique style.
*Freddie Araiza plays the Drums and back up vox. Freddie is a rhythm master, and an all around awesome musician and Gypsy Knight.
