I love nature! Everything from the ocean, to the desert, to the majestic mountains. The smell of the salt in the air from the ocean or the dew on the foliage in the morning. The sight of the waves crashing on the shore, a beautiful waterfall rushing over the edge, the painted desert in all of it's glorious color. The soothing sounds of a stream trickling through our campsite, the rustling of the trees in the breeze. The feel of sand between my toes, warm water of our local lake, warmth of campfire on a chilly night. The taste of the salt in the air, the sweetness of wild raspberries, the crispness of ice cold mountain spring. Nature has so much to offer and we enjoy all of it as a family. Whether it is exploring the desert with ATV's, Camping up in the mountains, or hiking to a beautiful waterfall. My dream is to travel all over the world and see all of natures wonders and beauty. I enjoy helping others when ever the opportunity arises. There have been times where I have had nothing and a stranger has helped me and I want to do the same for others. I have a love of food and one of my favorite things to do is go to a nice restaurant with my husband. We always have such great conversations when we are enjoying a night out with each other. I love to go dancing. I may be approaching 40 but you will still see me at the club shaking my big booty. There is just something so fun and freeing about letting loose on the dance floor.

I listen to just about anything. I find music can change my mood so what I listen to depends on my mood. Lately I have really been into alt-rock. Some of my favorite artists are Gavin DeGraw, Journey, Gwen Stefani, Brad Paisley, Joe Nicholes, Kelly Clarkson, Celine Dion, Carrie Underwood, Lincoln Park, Nickleback, Kenny Chesney, Akon, 3 Doors Down, Pat Benatar, Evanescense, Hinder, Sheryl Crow, Lisa Loeb, Matchbox 20, etc, etc, etc.
Movies
My favorite movies are ones that can make me laugh. Lately I have really been into suspenseful thrillers. I also like dramas and all sorts of other movies. I mostly watch kids movies though due to the fact that I have so many children. Some of my favorites are The Brave One, Crash, Fisher King, Night at the Roxbury, My Girl, Moulin Rouge, Tommy Boy. Love Stinks, Mr and Mrs Smith, Fried Green Tomatoes, Beaches, Madagascar, Beauty and the Beast, Night at the Museum, Pirates of the Caribbean (all three), Grease, Norbit, Sweeney Todd, I am sure I left out a ton.
Television
My favorite is "Extreme Makeover: Home Edition," I also like "Forensic Files," "Cold Case Files" and other crime solving shows, they fascinate me. This is my favorite commercial, lol
Books
I love reading and have read over a 1000 books. Usually I like suspense, mystery, horror, and true crime although I also like a lot of other stuff. I am currently reading "Brother Odd," by Dean Koontz. "Slumdog Millionaire," was phenominal, a must read. The movie is completely different than the book. "The Host by Stephanie Meyers was another fave. I Just finished "Angles and Demons," by Dan Brown, while not as good as "The Da Vinci Code" it was still a great book. Stephani Meyers, Sue Monk Kidd, Dean Koontz, Patricia Cornwell, Ann Rule, Jodi Picoult, Mary Higgins Clark, Tami Hoag (Newer stuff not old sappy romance novels), Mitch Albon, Jonathon Kellerman are just a few of my favorite authors.

Besides our Savior Jesus Christ, my Husband and Children are my Heroes! My Husband because he stands by and supports me in everything I do. He is the most loving and wonderful man I have ever had the privilege to know and love. My children because they have had a lot of difficult times since my divorce from their father and have made it through.

About me:

I have been married for just over three years now but have been with him for five years. The love and respect he has for me, and I for him is amazing. I never knew a love like this could exist. Sometimes I have to pinch to make sure I am not dreaming. Jared is everything I have ever wanted in a husband and more. In a world where I see couples constantly calling each other names and putting each other down, I can not begin to tell you how grateful I am for this man in my life.

Together we have six wonderful children. Each one has a beautiful and unique spirit. Addie is 21, her and her two beautiful children and husband, Christian, currently reside in Washington City. Linda is 20 and is in Colorado City. A.J. is 18 and he is currently residing in St. George. Nathan 10, Clara 8 and Georgie 5, all reside with Jared and I.

We also have the most beautiful 2 year old Granddaughter and a 1 year old Grandson. Savannah and Damon are the lights of my life. The love I have for these precious children is at times overwhelming. On the worst of days seeing one of them smile can brighten the whole day.

My family and friends are all very important to me. I have always been very close to my family and I love spending time with them all. My friends are like family to me.
