We're playin it and payin it forward. It's with great pride and pleasure that I share stages in and around Asheville, NC with a plethera of outstanding humans who also happen to be musicians. Peggy Ratusz & Daddy Longlegs features our main spider man, Duane "Daddy LongLeg" Simpson (6'6") on guitar. His prowes for Blues, Jazz, Jam and Contemporary is felt from the stage forward. He's a beloved, sharing and gracious instrumentalist. Jake Wolf (Cabo Verde, Hip Bones, Kellin Watson, Tyler Ramsey) graces the stage on 5 and 6 string Bass. The combination of his Funky, Soul, Latin Jazz jam influences are evident. Thumpin Rob Geisler (Lauren Jones & the Velvetones, Stephanie's id) plays as a spirder man at times too, while Mug and the Knocker's and Levi Douglas's bassist, Sir Lancelot McGough can be seen with his 4 string bass ax playing along with us too. Drummer extraordinnaire, "All Day" Joey K is the slick new drummer from L.A. He came to play the BLUEZ BABY! He holds the reigns, and we wouldn't want it any other way with the amount of jamming we do. Jim "Awesome" Arendell, another of Lauren Jones's Velvetones as well as drummer for Kellin Watson's band, helps me out from time to time on the skins. Joshua "Harp Throb" Singleton, on harmonica, brings new meaning to the mouth organ and he comes out to play with us too sometimes. I've been hangin' out in clubs, festivals, benefits and private parties for longer then I care to admit. A bunch of people, from music reviewers to the bride's cousin's brother-in-law, have complimented me for having a great set of pipes.
