So, here we goooo, I'm just a guitar playing dude from the darkest "rectum" of Finland. It's just me and my crappy home recording gear.
I do mostly old skool -like stuff here. Maybe later some more Metal-like if I get better drumsounds for it ;) I've been recording my own "beer -influenced" stuff since 1985.. I think..... so don't take my recordings too seriously as they were originally recorded just for my own fun. I know there's some sloppy, lousy playing in some parts of the songs but I don't give a f**k! Not too much retakes as this is pure spontaneous "fun in mind" -kinda stuff ;)
By the way, I don't use that much beer anymore for my new upcoming recordings, so there's no more excuses if they suck...hahahaa..
I try to take my songwriting and playing more seriously in the future, so no more sloppy, crappy and who cares -playing style next time I do something new..... or at least that's what I say now, hahaha.. u never know though if I crack a beer and hit the recording button, D'OH! ;)

I had my guitar hanging on the wall for about 9 years for family reasons (yea, I just counted the years right) , but all my good friends encouraged me to pick it up again and now I'm catching up all the wasted years. So, here I am, back in business again and it feels soooo damn good to play again ;) Now I wish I had never stopped playing back then but what's done is done. I'm doin' pretty good on catching up, so it won't be long until I'm playing the way I played at my best back in the day, hell yeah!!!

I've been playing in many different hard rock bands other than VV/TV and I like playing a LOT heavier stuff than VV/TV too.

Some history here:
I remember starting to play around the age of 11 or 12 with a piece of shit cheap acoustic guitar with strings set up so high it made my hand hurt! It was no fun playing it, believe me, so I got my first electric guitar, a Les Paul copy a couple of years later. I used to play my guitar through old 50's made tuberadios when I was a kid before I could afford an amp, hahaha.. The sound was pure Dynamite ;-) I got some pretty nasty electric shocks too from the tuberadios back then.. My first "real" guitar-amp was Fender Vibrolux Reverb, a 45W tube combo. It didn't take long for me to realize that I needed more balls and watts so a couple of other guitar and bass combos later I bought an old 100W Laney Clipp tube-head made in the 70's with a Marshall 4X12" cabinet, hehehe. After that things got rocking 'n rolling a lot better for me and of course I've had a bunch of different guitars (good and bad) and amps since that.
I do all my recordings that are playing here with a crappy Behringer Vamp2 virtual amplifier..toy, haha... For gigs I'm using a Marshall JCM900 Hi Gain Master Volume tubehead (-93) and ADA MP-1 (midi programmable) tube preamp with Rocktron Velocity 100 poweramp and a Marshall 1960B 300W 4x12 speaker cabinet.
As a guitarplayer, I'm selftaught and I don't know jack about notes! I cannot read or write notes but I'm doing pretty well trusting my ears!
Oh yeah, and if someone really needs to know, I've never practised my guitarplaying seriously! I mean that I've never, ever locked myself in a room and played for hours like some maniacs do, haha! I've learned to play slowly just a bit by bit, that's all and I'm never gonna practise for hours in the future either. I just can't do it... no patience for it...
I'm planning to form a new band some day and no coversongs allowed this time, hell yeah!

You must be surprised that I'm writing to you today, the 26th of December. Well, I would very much like to clear up certain things that have occurred since the beginning of the month, filled with illusion, I wrote you my letter. I asked for a bicycle, an electric train set, a pair of rollerblades, and a football uniform. I destroyed my brain studying the whole year. Not only was I the first in my class, but I had the best grades in the whole school. I'm not going to lie to you, there was no one in my entire neighbourhood that behaved better than me, with my parents, my brothers, my friends, and with my neighbours. I would go on errands, and even help the elderly cross the street. There was virtually nothing within reach that I would not do for humanity. What balls do you have leaving me a fucking yo-yo, a stupid whistle and a pair of socks? What the fuck were you thinking, you fat son of a bitch, that you've taken me for a sucker the whole fucking year to come out with some shit like this under the tree. As if you hadn't fucked me enough, you gave that little faggot across the street so many toys that he can't even walk into his house. Please don't let me see you trying to fit your big fat ass down my chimney next year. I'll fuck you up. I'll throw rocks at those stupid reindeer and scare them away so you'll have to walk back to the fucking North Pole, just like what I have to do now since you didn't get me that fucking bike. FUCK YOU SANTA. Next year you'll find out how bad I can be, you FAT-SON-OF-A-BITCH.

Hi Pekka, It's funny you should say that about the playing, I was telling Jonas one day how I thought I could never get to the level of his playing, and he said: "Each time you pick up your guitar, you tell a story, so keep on doing what your doing, it's great!" I thought that was one hell of a compliment and a very gracious think to say coming from him. It's just sometimes I go over a fast run while just goofing around, and it sounds good, but the minute the tape starts rolling, I can't get it right... arggghhh!!! Anyway, I'm sure we've all been there! Well, by now, most of your Christmas shopping must be done for the day, so I hope you now have time to relax. I haven't done any shopping yet, I'll do it on Monday, I'm like a last minute kind of guy... Enjoy the weekend, bro and have fun at band practice tomorrow!
I haven't been much around lately, except for the occasional peek at the page... Hope all is good at your end and much fun is had playing the new Forum 4! I'm sort of in a writing funk, too much on my mind... I kind of force myself to pick up a guitar on a daily basis and wander off, not really practicing anything in particular. Sometimes I think I suck... I see my friend Jonas Tamas from Hungry play, and I feel like putting the guitar in the case and go get drunk... Anyway, the funk as I said! Other things have been difficult as well, but here is hardly the space to talk about them. All will be good the minute I kick myself in the head and stop whining, lol!!!
