PELVIC MEATLOAF was formed back in 1990 by a group of friends in north Phoenix, Arizona. We sucked ass, didn't know how to play, but we were all about playing parties so we could drink for free. We sucked so bad that it was entertaining, so we got alot of gigs.
Eventually, we learned how to play. Once that happened, we started getting paying gigs at clubs, and we developed a pretty good fan base.
We recorded our first CD called NEGATIVE and released it in 1995. It had 6 tracks on it, including a ballad called TORN, that was written about the untimely death of our good friend & band manager TIM LUNDQUIST.
After that, we had a few member changes, and at the end of 1996, we released our second CD called THE KEY. This album was much heavier than the previous CD, and showed a darker, angrier side of the band. Our audience grew, and we began touring to spread our music around the states.
In 1998, we released the PELVIC MEATLOAF HOME VIDEO. It featured over 2 hours of footage from our first tour, behind the scenes footage of us being drunken jackasses, and even some clips of us when we were on the LEEZA SHOW, back in 1994.
In 1999, we released our next CD, called THE THIRD POWER, which we recorded at VILLAIN RECORDING. Our guitarist BYRON FILSON engineered it himself. This album featured 21 tracks, and showed more songwriting diversity than the earlier albums. Tracks like ASSAULT, and JUST LIKE ME were played regularly on the radio, and I AM YOUR PAIN became an audience favorite at our concerts.
About a year after that, frontman RICH FOURMY flipped out and wound up in the looney bin for a while & became a drug addicted moron, so the band went on hiatus. 2 years later, PELVIC reunited for a show at BOSTONS in Tempe, Arizona because the club was closing down. Bostons was like a second home to PELVIC MEATLOAF, so we had to put our differences aside and play the show.
After that night, we tried to keep things going and we played a few more shows, but RICH was still a drug addict and doing stupid shit, and landed himself in prison for a few years. Rich finally got out in March 2007, he is all cleaned up off drugs, and back to normal.
That brings us to the present. Keep your eyes and ears open... PELVIC MEATLOAF is up to no good, once again!
