TIME TO GET A LIFE! I was already obedience training my Pembroke, Scarlet, having fun with it, so why not take it further? Thus began my new life in the dog obedience competition world. Pems are not the most obedient critters, they are VERY independant and training her has been a real challenge. Missing how responsive my sadly lost past German Shepherd had been, I decided to get a new one. After 8 months of research and searching, I purchased my German Working-blood-line GSD, "Echo Meadows Silver Ezekiel" or "Zeke" for short. He has added so much to my life, I decided to double the fun and purchased his step-sis, "Echo Meadows Gayla," or "Gayla" for short. They have the same Mom, but different Dads. Although gorgeous and VERY correct, I will be spaying Gayla. Zeke will stay intact.
The kennel I purchased Zeke and Gayla from has closed due to divorce.
UPDATES: Zeke's step-sister, "Gayla," is now a part of our family. More to come on this "Uppity Mercat-looking Princess."
ZEKE GOT HIS BH!!! It wasn't pretty but we got it at my club trial 10/27/07, whew! ZEKE GOT A SECOND BH We went for it again, for good practice and did better this second time at our club's Spring Trial 5-31-08. We are now training for his Schutzhund I and his AKC CDX. WE GOT THE AKC CD!
We got his last 2 legs at the Rose City Classic, here in Portland Jan. 18 & 21. We also took advantage of the Eye and Heart Clinic a the show and he checked out great on both of these, too. Since Zeke just turned 2yrs, I got him xrayed with good results. OFA: Hips "Good," Elbows "Normal."

Hello Stranger... Things are good, Emma is Beautiful! Are you doing Schutzhund with her as well? No I didn't hear about mitch??? I will call you to get more details.
omg, she's amazing! also amazing? this picture of you sandwiched between two majestic dogs. although i worry a little about the name choice 'cause given the nature of your son you know what it's bound to get shortened into!
Good Morning! Yes, I am training both Foxe and Cassa. We are having our training seminar on May 30 and 31st and our trial on June 1st. I do want to come see you guys though, maybe I can come up on the 31st. I will let you know. Great job with Zeke!

aww! you made my day when i read this, and then it took me days to respond. Regardless you are amazing. I hope to come visit and empty out your basement some soon! Love you
When I have some extra cash I would like to get a Hyabosa or GSXR 1000. Just because my street bike is a HD i have respect for all my riding brothers. I also have a KTM 525 for fun in the dirt and off road.
yes, I have to drive to Knoxville, Tennessee, which takes two and a half hours. It's pretty nice, it's a lot like your club, on somebody's farm and set up with like 8 blinds. Also, they're gunna teach me to be a helper so that should be fun...unless they put me with the psychotic doberman...
As much as I would like to take credit for my page, I can't...my daughter took the pics and redid my page. I love the pics of Zeke, he is such a gorgeous boy. Foxe is doing good ...we are now on a break from the club until January.
we just got done with marching band here, so we haven't got up there yet, I guess the place they do schutzhund is just across the river from Cincinnati, so I have to go find it one of these weekends! Congratulations on all of that! Emma is doing great! She keeps getting bigger Lol.
ya, I was watching the weather channel last night, rain and cool weather go in like a circle around the state of Kentucky, while we're in a drought. Emma is much better today, it must have been something she ate that finally got out of her system.
She's doing quite well today, she has had the nasty stuff for 4 days and finally got over it today. She must have eaten something weird off the ground or something. In January I'm going to start taking her to schutzhund so that'll be fun. Yes, I am a bit homesick, Kentucky is hot and dry...in fact the state just called a natural disaster because of the drought.
