Greetings Dreamer,
You should always allow yourself to dream -- and dream BIG -- it's only through such thinking that great things happen. Don't limit yourself because you don't think your dream is attainable, you must start by believing you can truly achieve WHATEVER you set your mind to, no matter how big it might seem. NOT dreaming big enough is one of the biggest mistakes you can make -- if YOU can't see your dream, how do you expect others to????? Most people have GREAT ideas to make their lives better. Whether it's a new product they want to invent, a web site they want to create, a new venture etc..
Some people are basically AFRAID to succeed. They are AFRAID to accept accomplishment & the responsibilities that come with success. It is socially acceptable to them and the only life they know. If they see a challenge, they choose the path of least resistance. They intentionally sabotage their own plans with negative thought, diverting their attention away from their goals, even use drugs and alcohol.
They do this so when it comes time to take advantage of a life altering opportunity, they can use excuses about not feeling well, not doing their best, making responsible decisions or being up to par when it became time to perform.
Unfortunately we sometimes become surrounded with people who are narrowminded. People who are not interested in success, people who have become complacent. They are perfectly happy and content staying within the cones that thousands, if not millions have previously traveled. There's a path cut so deep that you have to walk one foot in front of the other to progress. There are others who are underachievers. It sounds harsh, but for these people, doing anything to better themselves is the furthest thing from their mind. You can even verbally express to them that you would like to experience change, you would like to explore new venues or follow your gut feeling. They will simply try to discourage you. They will try to talk you out of your own dreams and goals. It's not their fault.
They don't have the intestinal fortitude or drive that you have. In a case like this, you must redefine the nature of your relationship. Do not talk about it. DO IT! When you become aware that opportunities will no longer knock on your door as you get older, that you will have to start kicking them open, then and only then will you be ready for change!
Sometime we just need a push, a boost or a kind word to help us on our way. Well, this is YOUR wake up call. YOUR time to shine. It's not a sin to fall down in life, however, it IS a sin if you don't get up & wipe off your wounds, taste the blood, & try again! Human beings are the most intelligent, wonderful, complex creatures ever to come from carbon. We operate well under pressure, when we think we are beat down & at our worse, it is actually when we're at our best!
A successful thinker can bring things down to their lowest common denominator and size up a complicated situation to assess how to handle it. That is SO easy to do when it's all about other people's problems and issues. Now, however, when it comes to you, you see how complicated it is to put all the pieces together and come up with a solution. As romantic as sex on the beach may sound, those who've actually tried it will recall that by and large it's a rather gritty, potentially uncomfortable affair. What sounds good in theory will prove less practical when you get down to actually doing it. When you make a decision, you must triangulate & become cognizant of your position, in your life's plan.
Take risks from a positive place, and not from a potentially negative, self-destructive, or pessimistic stance. Trust that you can feel the difference. It may take a lot of energy at first. It’s important that you’re devoting your efforts to the projects or enterprises that actually facilitate your creativity and growth, rather than the ones that limit it. When you do positive things in life that create great vibrations and energy you start to feel an energy that is electric. That IS Karma paying you back.
Logic goes in and out of fashion. What's sensible and appropriate one day, is irrelevant and outmoded the next. Some people's likes and dislikes vary from day to day. One week, you're the flavor of the month, the next they are longing for flavors they profess to hate. DON'T even try to figure them out. If you even look down for one second at their foot prints, they will lead you astray. To be frank, "who gives a fuck?" You must stay focused, evaluate your position. If it is not where you want to be, simply change your latitude and longitude to a more hospitable, mental climate! After all, Intelligence requires a vast amount of information in order to function, but your heart is neither so fickle nor so fallible that you can't maintain your place in the universe. You cannot change the past. You CAN manipulate the future, however, all we have is right now!,..And right now is exactly how it is supposed to be.
Never give up trying. You should also never give up wanting to make everything a little better than the way you found it. Many people will experience radical change in certain aspects of their lives. Just when everything seems to be going great, something busts loose and alters your mental plan. Certain tensions dissipate, and you end up seeing everything in a new light. You find that your priorities have changed, therefore YOU must change in order to achieve your goals. You are in life, exactly where you worked yourself up to be! My advice to you is: Get back to work!!
I hate to sound like a cliche, but you should ALWAYS shoot for the moon. If you miss, at least you'll be amongst the stars. Others may see you as never being happy, always complaining. The truth of the matter is, you're a perfectionist, you always want to get better results, You don't want to just survive, you want to SUCCEED!!! It's what keeps you trying to achieve higher goals and it will eventually lead you down the road to monumental success. Now get the fuck out there & give them HELL!
Remember that on your path, there will be lots of nay sayers and those who disagree with your theories, or try to drag you down in life. Just stayyyyyyyyyy focused. Don't worry about it,. Just like life, they shall soon come to pass! The game of life isn't a game at all. You don't get three chances or another man with extra points. You only get one, you have only one life. It's your time to live.
