I'm an avid wrestling and baseball fan. I don't really play sports, though - except baseball, which I play decently. Don't like football, hockey bores me, golf is fun to play but not to watch, and basketball isn't my thing.
Music
My basic music interest is varied. I like a lot of different music, but my favorite genres are hard rock/heavy metal (Metallica and Disturbed), ambient, acoustic (Beethoven), and techno (t.A.T.u., Shiny Toy Guns, and System F). Other than that, I'll listen to any kind of music except mainstream pop, rap, and country.
I also play the piano - I've been taking piano lessons since 2002, and I've learned much. However, I'd probably practice more if I had something like a grand piano. Right now, I only have a keyboard. I compose a bit of music because of it, and I usually transpose them into MIDIs with this thing called Anvil Studio. I compose mostly metal and ambient music. KoRn was the first band that really inspired me to want to become a musician, so I make a little bit of KoRn-esque songs in tribute, I suppose. You know, broken chords and psychotic breakdowns? I'm really bad at lyric composition, though. My lyrics aren't too creative or smart. They're often cheesy, mooshy, and sappy. Same goes with the poems that I write.
I also own a bass guitar and an electric guitar. I can't do crazy solos or move my fingers with insane velocity, but I'm working on it. Guitar Hero helps me with finger speed, I suppose. But besides that, since I have a guitar, I've been trying to play some of my composed metal songs on it. I've been playing the guitar since around sumer/fall of 2008 - I'm doing pretty well. One of the few songs I can play pretty well is The Metal by Tenacious D.
Video Games
I'm a gamer. I play quite a few, but I don't play many mainstream games (like Gears of War or Halo 3), not because don't like them, but because other games interest me more. Some of my favorite games are fighters (like Mortal Kombat vs. DC Universe), or games with a lot of interactivity and options (like Grand Theft Auto IV, or particularly Star Wars: The Force Unleashed).
Some of my favorite video game genres are survival horror and oldschool multiplayer FPSs like Duke Nukem and stuff. I'm not big on driving games, though. The Sims and Thief: Gold/Thief: The Metal Age are ..THE.. best computer games ever, in my opinion. However, my computer fails miserably, so I can't play any computer games. But any computer game with a level editor is pure win.
