My interests are few. Live life to Honor yourself and Those you Love. Be an honest and true friend, no matter the trials. Fate will bless you then Twisters of fate will spit on you. Keep smiling and be true to yourself even if no one else believes, believe in yourself! Another interest of mine is to become a less trusting, dependable, predictable person... Trusting all, and being there for everyone has gotten me very little happiness in life and a lot of grief. .. This is a Florida substitute for a Snowday... my kids feel they were deprived(depraved?) of an important childhood right of passage because they have never had a "snowday"WHAT KIND OF PUPPY IS RIGHT FOR YOU ?

Jim Brickman, Styx, Journey, Harry chapin, Hank Williams Jr, Kenny Chesney, Josh Groban, Folk, Old Mountain Bluegrass Music(the kind with the washboard, jugs, a wash tub broom and twine.. gee they just don't make music like that anymore) Pretty Much anything from the 50s, 60, s70s, 80, most of the 90s (even liked disco) The Andrew Sister, Broadway Musicals, Claxxical, some head and grunge, Heard some rap I thought was good, I could actually go on for a long time. Next to reading, Music is my passion.. Love to listen and Love to sing(in the shower of course)Movies
Shrek....Gotta love the message "it's ok to be yourself" Anything with Richard Gere(*sigh*) Science fiction and Romance.. since they are very much one and the same when you think about it. Both have really great concepts, but none that are likely to happen in this lifetime, but its nice to dream. I am finding as I get older that I Like feature length documentaries.. the subject matter doesn't really matter. If it is something I don't know I am willing to whatch it.. You can never know too much(except medical stuff... too much medical knowledge can make you a veritable "basket case")Television
I try to catch the news at least once a day. Love travel documentaries, history or people and places.. again it shows how all life repeats regardless of the changes humans make, NATURE RULES!!!!Virus' Bacteria, earthquakes, floods and damaging winds are just natures way of trying to maintain balance when people get in the way.Books
I enjoy Science fiction and Science in general as subject matter. I read a lot about great mathmaticians.. as I have no head at all for mathmatical concepts, I admire those that do. ..
Heroes
My Dad. He was always "there" for me, he was rock and I would'nt have made it without him, he was a real superman. I watched him give and give and give to so many, all his life, and many who kept coming back for more. There is no burden I would'nt have carried for this man. My greatest wish was to make sure that he knew all his sacrifices were not made in vain and that there was at least 1 person who KNEW what a great person he WAS. I was only successful in telling him my appreciation but I think it wass too little too late, Especially with the selfish sick shit some of his other kids continued to pull right up til his death, and they know whoi they are and what judgement they will face when they are standing before our creator. They may be able to pretend they have no idea what I am talking about, but when the light dawns on judgement day, I know I am going to walk thru those gates without them, what a shame. !

I just got time to read this posting. And I must say, as cut and dry as it is, I am SO THANKFUL for it. Not only did it display the truth, it was as impartial as it gets. I will say this...your a fair, kind, and solid minded person. If I do nothing else in this short time on this planet, I will strive to use YOU as my role model. Your experience's in life have been trying at best, yet you have come out of it all as someone who not only helps others, but as a reminder for those of us to not to play the victim role, not to regret and NEVER stop loving. While there are indiviual's out there who are small-minded and selfish, and are lazy...only enough to not want to see outside of themselves, praying on the primal instinct of fear, YOU, are not afraid of life and what it has to offer. Considering all the circumstances, I find you to be one FINE human being. And thank you for taking care of my son, at that time when he was lost. I truly believe that time was his awakening, ONLY because of your influence. He constantly derives his lesson learned, and it was YOU, on the outside and asked upon influence that made that happen.You have made all of us on this end terminally optomistic for a change and a future of the better.
