Jessica and David Clausen are a young upstart couple from New Jersey who inherit a beautiful $7 million dollar townhouse in NYC's West Village District from Jessica's long lost aunt. But,under New York State tax laws, "Inheritance tax" is almost 50% of the property value and due within 9 months after inheriting. Jessica and David, in short, can't keep the house. Forced to sell the place, they move in for a few months to make some renovations. But Jessica begins experiencing strange occurrences in the house: noises from downstairs, a blonde child in a red sweater looking at her from the front window, strange telephone calls in the middle of the night. Instead of being scared off, she embraces it. It's exciting living in a haunted house. Jessica figures out that what she's experienced is an event from the past. Is the house trying to tell her something? Does it hold a terrible secret? She enlists the aid of an eccentric psychic in hopes of solving the mystery. But the psychic insists the house is not haunted. Is Jessica losing her mind? All is revealed on Halloween night, when Jessica, alone in the house, wakes up in a pool of blood that is not her own....

Hey check this out. A few months ago I found this trailer in the film archive warehouse where I work. It's for a movie that has been long out of print, it's called "Night of the Driller". I transferred the 16mm film and put it up online, it's awesome! WARNING: THIS CONTAINS NUDITY AND VIOLENCE

As you may know, we used to change our top theme every week By popular demand, we are starting it up again. but every other week... or whenever someone changes them... this week[’s] top props go to, [indie flicks] YOU made the cut. enjoy, BAREFOOT
Word has been going around Blood Thirsty Bastards HQ that Penny Dreadful is a pretty great short film. That said, we've all been watching films by Tobe Hooper that aren't the Texas Chainsaw Massacre so there's a chance that we're just relived to see something that doesn't make a person wish for the apocalypse.
A while back you added me as you friend. Now my new movie, "Evil Behind You" is being released at Blockbuster, Hollywood Video, Netflix, Movie Gallery and more on Feb 14th. It is a Sci-Fi Christian Thiller Horror, but one scene might let you call it a Chic Flick for Valentines Day. Ok, that is a stretch.
Anyway, thank you so much for your support. I hope you enjoy the movie.
