About me:
Founded in 1978, Penny Lane Pub has been a bit of Liverpool without the airfare for Richmond ever since! Come in, enjoy a pint, watch football (soccer to you Yanks), meet old friends, and make new ones! Don't forget Terry's authentic Pub Fare or daily specials if you're hungry!
At least 14 taps of great ales, lagers, and ciders - where else in Richmond are you going to find Old Speckled Hen and Fuller's London Pride? Many bottled beers. A great collection of Single Malts. Sorry - NO BLENDER!
The downstairs bar is for a lively place through most of the day. Upstairs in the mezzanine you'll find darts, pool, and on Tuesday and Thursday evenings a Texas Hold 'Em tournament.
Don't forget the food. Great rib-sticking Liverpudlian fare as well as interesting specials everyday.
Yet, what makes us who we are is the people. The owners, the staff, the regulars, the drop ins (a lighting guy that travels with Poison and the Almond Brothers Band was in a couple of weeks ago), the politicians (we're the best pub close to the Capital), the VCU students... All become Scousers for a few moments while in Penny Lane!

All the Scousers in the world and share a pint with them! For those not in the know - a Scouser is a Liverpudlian. Sometimes used as an insult by those outside the community, but inside - the greeting of a friend.
